You wrote as a joke that the Caps are basically Stanley Cup bound at this point, and I understand the joke completely. The way they are playing lately and for a few months earlier in the year validates the joke. However, there were stretches where this team played a different game and if they manage to harness this capability anything is possible. With how they played sporadically, they can beat anybody. Do the Caps have it in them to step it up and play that game consistently?

Its crazy to really even compare the 2 since we played all games so early in the season. Teams changed and grew together so much since then.

A lot of the 1st round series should be very good. 4 real good teams are heading home after round 1. As a personal selfish reason i hope florida moves on and the leafs do not move on

Could come down to which Bob we get. The year he swept tampa would be lovely if we get him
