Have to think the three guys to watch for battles are Kartye, Wright, and Evans.

The real big question is Dreidger. D'Accord reupping you have to think he did that and is looking at being the backup. Issue there is how to move Dreidger and to where?! Goalie market has been dry and dont think there is that much interest out there.

I can’t see Evans getting much of a look in the NHL this year, but perhaps a call-up if there are injury troubles.

You have to think Joey would get claimed if they waive him, so Driedger will be moved or waived by the end of camp - unless of course he comes out unbeatable in the preseason…

Too bad, liked him as a player.

Think the team still needs at least one right hand C so they have some options, especially in the defensive zone and on the PK.

If St. Louis continues their regression, Justin Faulk would be an amazing add to your blueline, balancing out Oleksiak’s size and net front D with speed and high IQ hockey while also providing an elite option on your PP2 (assuming Dunn has PP1 locked down).

St. Louis may ask for Wright due to stable cap hit at reasonable term. Parayko could also be made available but seems like y’all have enough size on the backend.

That would be a hard no from me to a 31 year old defender with 4 more seasons at $6.5m. With this group he’d end up being a 3rd pairing, PP specialist. No way he gets near 50 points with that usage. Now if Thomas or Kyrou were available I’d have to at least think about it.

Now Reinke on a 1 year league Min deal (2 way). Don’t imagine we will see him in Seattle at all.
