Solid read and agree Sean. Hard sched out of the gate somewhat but also a good test. It really will depend on Gru. If we get playoff Gru its going to be a good year.

Only question really you pegged it, can Borgen become a 3/4 d man? Not sure Schultz isnt replaced at some point by Evans too.

Let the games begin!!

🤬🤬🤬

Cmon!!! Turbo wth was that?!?! Seriously stupid puck handling and down 2-0. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

That goal just changed momentum huge. Sloppy, bad bounces. Gru came up big though. This could get ugly.

They're playing well enough to be even, just a bit unlucky so far. Just need to get one and start to roll

Yeah thats just it. First goal they blew it but ok. They came back, were pretty doninant. Outshooting and pressuring Vegas and then just bad tired line getting caught and got sloppy. No clue why Tirbo, head up, doesnt make the safe pkay there but damn.

We ARE lucky it wasnt 3-0 with the giveaway followed by that big Gru save too.

Definitely need to tighten it back up and just get one in there.

Aaaaaaand there's the third one. Not starting the 2nd well 😖

Great pushback. Tolvanen with a ping and then Bjorkstrand comes close.

Larsson looking great on the back end despite being down. He's midseason form really.

Damn. Gotta cash in on one of these chances

37.5% win percentage on faceoffs. Benny struggling at 11% but Schwartz is 66%. Wennberg at 40 still not winning a lot.

Dumo and Schultz lowest on icetime. Not sure if you are gonna run Dumo it wouldnt have been better having Evans with Big Rig on that bottom pairing.

Tanev down. Major being reviwed on Howden. Hit from blindside, looked like tried to go shoulder to shoulder and caught the head.

Match penalty 5 min major and game misconduct.

Nothing to show for 5min of PP time. And Hak favors Yamamoto who coughed it up twice and was fortunate on bounces in preseason. Over Kartye?! Man decisions like this is why I do question Hak.

🤦‍♂️ our PP still sucks.

Schwartz late period high stick pretty much kills em for any real rally chance here. That failure on the 5 min major just was it right there

4-1 with the ENG but closer game than score indicates. Just holes in the game, sloppiness, and a completely ineffective PP. Gru a tually kept them in this one and looked good. D other than Larsson looked slow though.

Game night. Hopefully a bit more in sync and more focused. Like to see them tighten up on the sloppiness and turnovers.

Absolutely brutal. PP is attrocious. What 0/6 in 2 games and giving up the shorty. Faceoffs were an issue last season and seems worse now. Bellemare 3/6, Benny 5/10,
Eberle 2/3, Gourde 7/14, Schwartz 1/2, Tolvanen 0/1, Wennberg 3/11 and this guy is our 2nd line center?!?!

Hak loves Yamamoto. Whopping 1 hit and -3 on the night. With the guys we got sent down he was really better?!

No idea why we have the d paired the way we do either.

Gru has looked damn good despite it all early here which is a big positive.

Need to just be way better here. I think we missed the mark and maybe should have gone with Wright, Lind, and Evans in there.

Tanev upper body, well dunno why they bother and don't just say concussion here. Though least it wasn't his leg which buckled under him weird when he went down too. Hopefully it isnt that bad but given his style of play I do hope they play it real safe with him too before he comes back.

Well farm team kicked things off much like the parent club. They were defeated by the Baketsfield Condors 3-2. Condors got a 2-0 lead, but Coachella got back in it with goals from Cale Fleury and Kole Lind. 18:02 of the 3rd Condors got the 3-2 game winner. Pickard outduelled Chris Dreidger in the net.

Good start, but need to get those shots all the way to and on net.
