First trade with the sabres. Get Odleafson for the pp. He a pp specialist. On defense Bryson defenseman who has untapped offense. What would you trade for them? They fell out of favor with the team.

Hakstol will live off that 2nd round appearance for a few more years. Still they are in year three , best thing that could happen is get a top ten pick and keep building !

while it is tempting to want Woodcroft... if the Kraken wait longer, better coaches will come available.

I think Francis has to look in the mirror here. He made mistakes out of the gate and then again this past offseason. Too many mistakes and a LOT of NTC/NMC's as well.

The defence was not great but not bad last season. Larsson, Dunn, and Oleksiak are the key guys. Borgen was promoted to top four and maybe a bit too soon. Soucy was a better skater, harder shot and gave more points than his replacement in Dumo. Schultz just likely ahould have been replaced. Its good we didnt rush Evans but pre-season he looked better. We need more depth and replace Schultz with more physical D.

Up front we lost the bottom line scoring fast forecheck drive play guys. Tanev has been hurt and out and we miss Donato, Geekie, and Spronger. Burakovsky goin down again etc really hurting us. Schwartz out now. Hak's love affair with Yamamoto. Honestly Bellemare was at least a decent add but less offence than Geekie brought.

I think yes a coaching change is needed. Never have liked our system or how Hak coaches. That said its still year 3 and roll over should happen and come. Wennberg, Schultz et all as they come up should be traded or let walk and the younger guys start to work in like Wright, Winterton etc.

I thought Hakstol was a terrible coach in Philadelphia and I was right. I was surprised how well he did last year in Seattle but he just looked more in control. However you nailed it with two points. K. Yamamoto love affair and J. Schultz inability to play defence and they are getting way too much ice. Grubauer in inconsistent and they should just go with Joey as the starter. Where would they be without Vince Dunn, man would the Blues like to have him now, lol

MacCoemico and Studenic returned to coachella. Devin Shore recalled.

Curious seeing all the shuttling up and down. Wondering if Francis isnt getting a look and perhaps contemplating a trade or two.

I agree on Hak. Given the plethora of coaches at the time, his hiring was less than exciting. I think last season was more the team coming together doing it themselves than anything with Hak. Then we lost a good bit of the lunchbox heart types and injuries took out a few more. We see that reversion to year one with structure and gameplan issues.

RF might be needing to make a few moves. I think Borgen has struggled in the 3-4 slot. Dumo is ok but we miss Soucy's skating and heavy shot. And past the four of Larsson, Big Rig, Dunn, and Borgen they dont have much other than Evans pushing to make it at the moment. The NTC/NMC list is a bit too long at that too.

I think a bench change IS the easiest and most impactful move here though not sure RF has the actual stomach to make that change. I think he will pull a deal, maybe two, and then just maybe it will fall on Hak in the offseason.

Back home and up against the Devils. Really could use a strong game and win here

Megna sent down on conditioning stint too but no real surprise there.

Well 1-0 after 1st.

Ryker Evans 1st game tonight and Burakovsky back too. Palat beat Gru in the 1st. Still bad bounce/rebounds tonight though.

Offence cant seems to find the groove. Chemistry with lines just isnt seemingly there real well.

5v5 goals per 60 last year 1st. This year 29th. 5 game losing streak right now. Man thats just ugly.

One thing Ive really noticed is we just dont have that aggressive fast attacking forecheck that created a lot of turnovers last year.

There we go. Burakovsky using speed to check and get the turnover and Kartye buries it!!! 1-1

And Devils take the lead again. Lost puck battles everyone puckwatching and right down the middle nobody takes the man. Just brutal coverage and read.

Tough OT loss on home ice and possibly costly at that.

Down 2-0 after the first, got it tied affter the 2nd. Bjorkstrand with his 300th nhl point to boot. McCann gave us the lead but Lightning got it tied up.

Schultz and Gru didnt come back for 3rd period.

Least got a point vs Tampa

Follow the team an watch the games so posting in isnt tough to do 🀣

As for a trade, dunno if/when RF might try to shake things up with a move here. Injuries are hitting this year big too

Unfortunately 1-0 after 1st. Daccord starting of course.

Always a rough physical grind of a game with the Wild too.

Couldnt crack the Wild defence and goalie. Decent push and a solid PK for the Kraken though in the 2nd.

Brutal cough up and winds up Rossi gets a gimmie gift goal πŸ€¬πŸ˜–πŸ€―

2-0 and damn but that is just a backbreaker with just over 7 min to go πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

Eriksson-Ek the ENG 3-0 and Gustafsson gets the shutout. Game over and 8 game losing streak 🀬😒

Last time shutout was MAF 13 minths ago πŸ€―πŸ˜–

Honestly team playing hard and trying but have to think regression, coaching, injuries, and a bit of bad puck luck are continuing to kill.

Interesting has been the call up of prospects. Wright and Winterton, Studenic, Evans, etc. kole Lind nowhere to be found. Seems more like a look at what we have and is RF contemplating a move?

Have to think really there's two options. Minor shakeup trade to try and soark the team, or a coaching change to really shake things up. With the prospect look Im thinking its a minor trade move perhaps. Plus a look at trade deadline potential deals.

Man after last season this really sucks to see this much regression and struggling to win.

Man Larsson post game was a tough interview. Agreeing and stating things were not going well, team hasnt played of full 60 minutes. He looked just deflated and frustrated. Something has to give. Looks like yheir confidence is flagging bigtime.

I said several times last season before the deadline to make moves to improve the PP. Also said being in such a good playoff position will not always happen every season. The division has team risers and fallers every season.

Everyone liked the playoff and season rush but not making moves doomed it to rebuild mode. But not top 5 rebuild or maybe this season they are that bad. So it’s a slower grind and more current players will fall out of being productive. So team will rely on young talent and it will be tough to compete consistently.

The knights made aggressive moves and won the Cup. Sit back and you just pile into a Sens and Sabers talent but no progress team.
