I know what Perry brings to the table, but I’m interested to see how he feels with his line mates and where he fits in on special teams. Regardless, we won’t see his true worth till spring time 👍

Nobody can tell me that Bouchard is a good hockey player.
-at least half of his outlets are icings.
-can't hold the blue line (and that's IF he's even there)
-passes not only off the tape but he has passed to literally nobody 3 times today!
-loses most puck battles
-can't pivot outside
-so slow, so many bad decisions.

Eckholm deserves MVP just for cleaning up this kid's mess.

I don't understand how someone can't see this. He's a huge liability.

Gotta ask, haven't seen Ceci play since he left the Sens. This Oilers team is ridiculous right now, how does he look in a top 4 role?

Serviceable but unremarkable. It’s the one spot in the top 4 that needs an upgrade.

Totally different subject. Drai is elite, who takes days off and can be too selfish at times. I said shop him 2yrs ago when his value was high and we could have rounded out the roster. That window has closed a bit and if he can be more responsible defensively he's great.

Bouchard is terribke at hockey...and i really don't want to wait and say I told you so.

No one wants to hear you say it either. It’s fine that you don’t like him, but for the love of god… give it a rest. You made your point, now stop your whining. I might listen to what you have to say if you didn’t deliver it in a cry baby method. Just enjoy the streak and accept players for what they are. Enough with the “he’s not perfect, so let’s chase him out of town with torches and pitchforks” bullpoop.

Oilers win 16 in a row and now have 9 days off! What a horrible time to have a huge break.

Pickard is playing well and Oilers should focus on adding depth at RD. Maybe Sean Walker

Literally EVERY team in the NHL would gladly take Bouchard off the Oilers..
He’s a PP specialist.
Ok so he’s not the perfect defensive dman, that’s ok.

I would counter that it's you that is whining, and not the first time. This is a forum for floating out ideas and conversation. I was hard on Draisaitl in the recent past because of his undeniable lack of work ethic etc. and mentioned that he should be shopped when his value was at a peak that he may not get to ever again, while the team had glaring holes to fill and McDavid, not only the best offensive player in the world, but another defensively challenged center. Not many people could grasp this, so I furthered my explanation. Now his value is considerably lower so more likely to want to keep him. It's really that simple.
Bouchard is just not even remotely close to his hyped up value, so you 100% shop this asset to again bolster a lineup with some big holes.

I think i have bot and sold TSLA like 15 times in the past 10yrs...this is called asset management, and your overly emotional response to it suggests a value of your own "asset management" that is likely less than you and your family desire from you. Now go back to your blogging...

the streak doesn’t matter but the points do. Theyre clearly not gonna play .1000 hockey the rest of the season but possibly .750 ? I’ll take it no matter where the losses come.

A very incredible streak by the Oilers.
Hard to believe a team that was so bad early in the season is so good now.
Hopefully you can keep this up and represent the West in the Cup final.
One way or the other I want the Cup back in Canada and if it's not my Leafs another Canadian team is OK with me.

Yup. Remember when he tried to 'buy' the Captaincy from the Habs by donating something like 10 million to a local charity and they passed him over. I mean good on him for the charity but don't expect to be named Captain over it lol.

He's still hurt that the Oilers turned down the trade offered by the Habs and they then turned Hall into Larsson and Larsson is still relevant and loved by Oilers fans and he is an only a hockey personality now. And that majority of Oilers fans were in favor of the bad deal they did take as opposed to the one to acquire him.

I wonder what the Oilers are going to do at the trade deadline here, I have a hard time seeing a whole lot of great options especially with our cap space. I still think the Oilers should do a scumbag move and place Kane on LTIR until playoffs lol, just let him rest and give us some extra cap space.

Adam Henrique could be a decent depth forward, Monahan as well, I just wonder what it would take to get either. I remember at the start of the season there were talks about Toews and Kane signing somewhere midseason, with the Oilers being a potential target (E5), if Toews was healthy I would love to bring him in. I've also been seeing Eberles name around recently, as much as I love Ebs I dunno what I would be willing to give up for him, if anything I would want Larsson back lol, maybe a trade to get both back? Lastly, and I don't even think is necessarily a good idea, but last season there were a lot of talk about the Oilers going after Karlsson. This is the kind of trade I would love to see, just something big and an obvious improvement.
