Thanks NYN. Too many mistakes ended up in back of the net. Mental fatigue plaguing their play. Other teams are dealing with their schedules. Can Canucks recover and clean up their game for a March push?
Adding players can give a lift. However, the team must be playing well in order for that to be effective. |

Correct. Team has looked pretty sad since the all star break need a reset of sorts for the players as well. look lost and tired out there. Lindholm trade looks to be a miss by PA and JR. Tocchet must be wired lol |
|
|
|
Tocchet has been good, but he also needs to be consistent with his messaging. Earlier this season, he was benching players for poor shifts, now he has gotten away from that, with some players.
This is a team game, if you hold some accou table and others unaccountable, the wrong message is sent.
Hopefully Tocchet isn't getting soft, because he doesn't want to hurt some feelings. |

I hate to say it but all your struggles began when you took the cancers out of CGY’s locker room. |

It is ironic that the club got way better without Horvat and way worse without Kuzmenko lol. Haven't looked the same since Kuz left and it appears they have reverted back to last years play. |

Watched the highlights from the game and 17 minutes left in the 3rd it was a 2-1 game. Considering how bad the Canucks had played up to that point and it wasn't if Demko was making highlight reel save after save. Another penalty, a bad read by Cole and the game is seemingly out of reach.
Hoglander missed a real good chance, Garland missed an open net from 5 feet away.
Tough night when bounces don't go your way and some really bad plays just makes things worse. |

I would say, the biggest highlight of the game, last night, was Juulsen flattening the Kings player. |

Lindholm scoring at the same rate as Garland and Mikheyev, 5M for players scoring at a 3rd line rate.
The good news is there is a LOT of other forwards scoring at the same rate getting paid the same rate.
Bad news, they need to be better. |

Well some posters keep calling him a 100 pt guy in back to back years. He has yet to do it, so I am just checking to see if they are keeping up with their narrative.
In fact it was the same guys saying at the beginning of the year that the pace was not sustainable. You know the stats guys. - VANTEL
What a weird attempt at a gotcha, given the Canucks PDO is currently tanking and they are losing. It's almost like the "stats guys" knew what they were talking about |

Elliotte said Rutherford brought the trade to Pettersson and his camp:
"He brought it to the table and said if you aren't going to give us an answer, this is something we're going to consider."
There is reportedly an offer on the table for Pettersson's contract in the range of $90M to $96M, according to Nick Kypreos.
They're basically giving him two options, sign or trade. |
