No real surprise there. While team was talking to him and Eberle nothing close. Even Tatar was non commital about re-signing. Have a feeling likely going to be a few moves. With the d market shrinking hard have to think Schultz will garner some interest too.

Oilers should get him, but with the caveat that whoever they send in return has to be used by Seattle in an all Oilers line of

_____ Eberle Yammer
Jultz Larsson

Even if it's just for one shift I'd still laugh

What are they expecting for Wennberg? I’m not sure Rangers will go crazy high but they’re interested apparently

Id say 2nd rd puck type deal but if there's a bidding war between two teams as been suggested, maybe a 1st?

What kind of prospects they looking for? Position? Type of guy? Idk if they’d go a second and definitely not a first. Not trying to insult or anything

Id guess likely d tops the list. Mid 6 strong faceoff and consistent guy with decent d game? 2nd wouldnt be unreasonable. As I said sounds like NYR and COL both in on him to where they have him scratched. Bidding war might push things but never know there.

The interesting thing is RF was in contract talks with him. So the scratch is very curious. Has to be some serious talk and interest in him and enough that RF is going to bite on a trade.

We will see

HUGE 4-2 win over the Flames. Kraken bigtime needed this one. Draw even now with Calgary chasing that wildcard berth.

For Wennberg - a projected late 2nd pick is not enough. I’m not his biggest fan but something projected at pick 50+ is just a lottery ticket. Holding him instead tells other GMs we’re not willing to just accept anything.

I saw our NY Post guy, Larry Brooks, seems to think it’s very close and we’ll be sending a second rder and a B prospect. Which could very well be Robertson (bigger, more defensive) or Jones (smaller, more offensive), both LHD. Both different styles but both decently regarded. They just have no room on the left side for either guy at the moment. Wingers that could be in the trade are Berard or Sykora. One of those 4 is possible imo. We really don’t have much at center they’d be interested in tbh

This has to be half retained which will give them a decent prospect.

I’d imagine that Francis is probably debating which prospect he wants from us, I listed 4 guys just now (above this post). Definitely seems like it could be a done deal

I’m excited we need a center pretty badly

I'd be happy with that kind of return. Think you guys would be happy with Wennberg too. Thing is we have a few center prospects like Wright to take his place. McCann slotted in last night even. Think it likely leans towards the d prospects.

Another HUGE win. Daccord between the pipes gets it done and of all the heroes its Burakovsky the IR man with the GWG on the PP. Just his 2nd of the year. Bigtime needed that one.
