I feel like there are 8 other Western Conference teams the Oilers are more likely to face in the first round other than the Canucks.

Brown has as many goals this season as Jarry, and 1 more point than Jacob Markstrom. All for the low low price of 4M.

Really? Think about it. Van C has been playing great all year and is pacing the WC.
Oilers are probably playing LA or Vegas. If The Oil slip into the first wild card, we'll probably face Colorado, Dallas, or the Jets. May be can actually pass Van C? Then we would play Nashville, Minni, or the Blues.

Minni or the Blues making the post-season, and facing the Oilers has better odds than LA or Vegas passing Both Edm and Van C..

Yeah, your logic is sound... the other guy is the one that's not so swift.

Avs OT goal...100% Bouchard! He actually committed TWO errors on the same play.
He is not a player that plays hockey in June.

Drai AND McDavid were lazy, but Bouchard's ankles were broken on the entry (because his pivot sucks!), andxtgen hecwas way too soft in the corner.
Drai and Bouchard (and even McDavid) on 3v3...is a defensive disaster.

Now people understand why Bergeron, Toews, Crosby, Kopitar....win Stanley Cups.

Our guys are damn good, but they're playing shinny.

So, just to confirm, our offensive D specialist who makes $3.9mil per is the problem, even though he forced his guy to the corner with 3 seconds left on the clock (some chump named MacKinnon, BTW)? How the team can be paying Nurse 9.25per, but Bouchard gets all your vitrol, is completely baffling to me.

If the forwards do not commit to team D, then it doesn't really matter who the Oil have playing D. Saying move Bouchard, and replace him with a real #1 D is not a solution, as we do not have the cap to pay a real #1 even if there was some way we could magically acquire one. Moving Bouchard and replacing him with another Ceci would be a massive step backwards.

I pretty much agree with all of this, but the fact still remains that I can't stand watching Bouchard make bonehead plays that cost the team points. Nurse is 10x a better defensive player than Bouchard (and he's not great! lol). At least Nurse puts forth some effort and can skate.
