Facing 24 shots only is a reflection of the team play in front of Monty. It was a good game, Boston is quite talented. At some point there will be a need to trade some young D-men, but they are not at that point yet. Just look at the patience exhibited with the goalies....the time will come, but not this season. Plenty of talent in the system, let them develop some more, eh

At defense yes.

Very thin on offense

That's why at one point they will have to trade a young D for a young F

what's going on up there today? one more weird day over 70 degrees down here. mother nature threw 3 warm days in and then tomorrow we go back down to the 50s.

weather is weird. it was 75 yesterday!

yeah, Mother nature is going through something for sure. beautiful Friday here anyway.

the end of winter has been more than smooth, which I really don't mind obviously, but it's kind of worrying if this is all due to global warming, not necessarily a great sign for things to come. but maybe it's just a glitch and next winter is gonna be insane AF, who knows lol.

it could just be a coincidence but the last 3 or 4 winters here have been extremely abnormal. i think we went 2 winters in a row with less than 1 inch of snow combined in the middle there. when i was growing up we had snowstorms all winter and getting 7 or 8 inches of snow from a storm was pretty normal. it's hard to believe global warming would be happening that fast so i hope it's just a coincidence. i do wonder if we'll ever have winters like we used to again.

I dunno, sometimes I feel the effects could happen much quicker than anticipated, but I'm no expert so what the (frank) do I know.

2 winters ago it was really cold the frost got to 6 feet in the ground which I had not seen in years. Last winter was more average with that crazy -40C day. This winter is really warm. Hard to find a pattern except there seems to have more frequent above 0c episodes in Jan-Feb with winter rain that ruin outdoor ices.

I find there is a pattern in that the abnormal fluctuations seem to be a more common thing, but again, how "far gone" we are in terms of global warming remains to be seen.

François Legault has offiacially asked Gary Betman full powers to bring back the Nordiques to Quebec in a formal meeting this Friday morning. The answer was "no". "All options on the table" replied Legault.
