thanks Karine

they've lost a bunch of games recently or only got 1 point but I find it really isn't all that turrible to watch. with the rebuild, considering that on most nights the teams they're facing are better and more complete than what the habs are currently icing, it's safe to say the effort is there, as they're rarely being completely outmatched, even against top teams in the league.

Yes, it is honest to say the opposing clubs seem to have more complete rosters, yet the Habs battle well most evenings. Roy is showing he belongs, and Beck will make the jump next season....and there could be others from the D side that forces a trade, possibly bringing in talent for the forwards. The roster is improving.....unquestionably so.

Prayers to MSL and family.....

The amount of turnovers in the first 2 periods, by both teams (many of which were unforced), seemed like it was going to be a game of who took advantage of the turnovers more. Was frustrating to watch, even if they lead to multiple exciting scoring chances for both teams.

Did not catch the last period.

yeah, the quality of play was generally way lower than what we've seen in previous recent games, it wasn't a snoozefest but it sure wasn't a Picasso either.

oh I know. and even with very good trades you still need to have players develop appropriately, stay healthy, establish chemistry, etc.

there are no guarantees, but I'd rather see things in a realistic yet more hopeful and positive light, it makes it more fun to follow the team I find.

I'm gonna be so (frank)ing paranoid next season for the first games he'll play, he should wear a bubble wrap suit just to be safe.

tks Karine!
yeah, that was one they had a chance to win with the SEA one. the other 3 games won't be easy (EDM, VAN, COL). oh well.
not a good game last night, we can give them a pass under the circonstances I guess.
rough night for many. Primeau, Matheson, Guhle... forget it and move on to EDM.

I defended Anderson before xmas, even if he was not scoring he was playing very well, doing the little things, having scoring chances.... not anymore. he's been a non factor for 2 months now. I don't have high hopes but if Hughes finds a way to trade him this summer it would probably be a good thing. he looks like another one who could need the help of the team psy.

yeah, as much as I always rooted for Anderson and hoped he'd eventually reach an acceptable level of consistency, there isn't a whole lot to praise about his game right now. I hate to say it but I think even Armia has proven to be more useful/noticeable than him recently... even if he isn't producing you'd think he might be able to stand out a bit with his physicality but he isn't really ever dishing out huge hits or using his weight all that much.

still didn't get my Vox mini amp thingy, Amazon says I should be getting it by tomorrow but I hope there won't be any (frank) ups with the shipping or whatever.

did you get that model you were looking at the other day?

I was thinking Armia could refer him to the same sports psychologist he's been seeing, sure seems to have worked for him and helped with his confidence on the ice...

yeah, I thought you'd might change your mind loll...

not that the one you were looking at is necessarily bad, but when actual guitar/amp brands that you know usually make good quality poop are available, it would be silly not to consider them.

I guess we both helped each other out unintentionally on this one
