At the beginning of this year Hog was healthy scratched a few times before he found his consistent footing. Pod looks better for being in the A, the scoring opportunities will come for him. He'll probably get sent down when Joshua comes back strictly due to waivers, but will be back up for the playoffs.

Pretty solid game but that late 2nd period goal made it tighter than needed. They were buzzing us pretty good in the 3rd but it was bend not break. Liking the focus on getting into PO hockey style but still more work yet to do. Let Demko take his time & hope he can be back for some tune up games.

I get it he wants to play for his country at the worlds if he makes the team & if he feels he’s not quite ready for the transition to get to the AHL right away so be it. Personally imo it’s better he gets here asap & get acclimated to the small ice & systems. PA already loaned him out & imo it’s more his call. My $.02
