MIA.

I think Petey is injured, honestly. I read on Reddit that he's been seen icing his wrist this season at points, he isn't shooting like he normally does, and the other season when he had a wrist injury (with Bruce) he was playing similarly/not shooting.

Boes is still driving play positively, that line has some to get some chemistry going, but they're not terrible.

Hopefully when Lindy comes back he can get some depth scoring going with snake-bitten Miky and Lafferty.

Given the start time, I could only watch the first period, but they looked ok from what I saw. Quinn Hughes is turning into a heckuva player, probably going to win the organizations first Norris Trophy as the leagues best dman. #suckitReuby

Well played 1st and 2nd. Messy 3rd period, can't do that against higher quality teams, but hey, a win is a win

I think the team is tired and coasting a bit, they know what's upcoming. Except Hughes, that kid has an excellent internal fire. I also think some guys are hurting, like Petey.

Yeah, I definitely think he has something bugging him physically. I'm glad the D corps is healthy enough to rest guys, they might need to cycle out some of the forwards as well.

Hughes is a machine, guy can play 30 mins a night like it's nothing

Hughes is so effortless with how he skates, probably expends 1/3 the energy some guys do.

The Canucks have 6 games left, Oilers 8 games left. Canucks are up 7 points – but basically 8 as the boys hold the tiebreaker. I wonder if they get close to or wrap up the division early if they'll rest some players who are hurting... like Petey.

He also doesn't get hit very much, he's very good at evading big contact.

It looks like they won't catch Dallas, so they're pretty much locked in to playing against WC1. Still could be any of Nashville, LA, Vegas. I can't decide who I'd rather they go against, probably the Preds?

Thanks York pot pie. Missed the last couple games to watch the WHL playoffs and your recaps have been fantastic to help me catch up.

I just popped in to tell Lordy and his lame Oiler trolls to suck it, suck it, and suck it.

In five seasons Quinn Hughes is second in Canucks all-time NHL scoring for dmen, that's 54 years of failure right there.

Jim Benning is a God damn genius!! The Red Wings (Ken Holland) organization passed on Hughes, Bouchard and Dobson for Zadina....YIKES!!

I wonder if they look at him to back up next year. He has been decent in every game a a Canuck (VAN).

I had read that the other Abby goalie, Tolopilo, had possibly passed him on the depth charts... so maybe they might consider Silovs up here and Tolopilo getting more reps down there. Canucks always seem to have solid goaltenders #IanClarkEffect
