There was zero chance Husso will play any of the last 5 games. Lyon gets the next 3. Then Reimer gets game 1 of the back-to-back. Lyon finishes on Tuesday.

So with Husso getting zero minutes it's smart to send him down for playing time. In case someone gets hurt, you'll want two goalies for that back-to-back finish. So let's say Lyon gets hurt, you don't want Reimer playing two nights in a row. But also don't want to be forced to use ice cold Husso. So this gives him a few games first.
