Disappointing to not see Bear Grin called up. He's paid his dues and is an offensive hammer in GR. This leads one to think he's not long for the Wings and will seek to ply his wares elsewhere, unfortunately....

Aston-Reese is a center which they need to fill Copp's position. Berggren is a right-wing. So I'm sure that's the main reason for Aston-Reese call-up. Also Aston-Reese is a 29 year-old veteran who probably is better defensively than Berggren.

No Copp and No Rasmussen at Pittsburgh - two of Detroit's best matchup forwards.

Friedman indicated the league is working as a broker with Coyotes owner Alex Meruelo and prospective Utah owner Ryan Smith. He claims multiple sources said a real scenario has the league paying Meruelo $1 billion for the Coyotes, then selling the club to Smith for $1.2 billion.

Meruelo would also be offered a five-year exclusive window to bring an expansion team to Arizona.

So we lose a bottom 6 defensive center and want to call up an inexperienced soft winger that's a defensive liability? Makes no sense.

ZAR is an easy decision. Although I would also consider going 11/7 given how little trust there is in the 4th line.
