Nashville has drafted well and has two prospects I especially believe can have an impact on their roster.

Askarov the Russan goaltender has played well I'n the. AHL. He is a lefty glove

Then too there is L'Hereu a first round choice is a tough customer, agitator with a short fuse but whose report shows he scores some too.. He is close to ready to play in the NHL. Descent skater too

Anyone else feel like the longer he is on the team the more useless AA becomes? He does a lot of not much like 95% of the time.

You could say that about 9 of the forwards that dress every night.

Yep, he had two chances to clear the zone, and then Megna backhands it to the point, those are minor league plays. Good news is neither Megna or Tinordi will be back, and Entwistle is also skating on thin ice.

Unfortunately Entwistle only shows effort one game in five or so. You can give a rookie some slack for mistakes but not for lack of effort.

For the majority of the players dressed the last 2 games and tonight, the Give a poop meter is just above zero.

If some guys want a job next season they’d better start giving a poop.

You seem angry. You should teach the Blackhawks a lesson by logging out of HB and never coming back. That’ll learn them.

Megna is hot garbage as well. The weird thing is that he’s normally in the right position, but it’s like he has no idea what to do when there. And god help him if the puck is on his stick,

Maybe not change so much as reinforce.

The Preds might not be as efficient as the Blues were the other night but the results the same. Breadbag 1 HawkintheD 0

I hope KD can put together a little better team next year. 2 years of watching this crap is starting to get old. I know "it's coming together soon", but geez, this sucks.

Reinforce is a more accurate description. Wonder if LR will have a curfew when the team is in Vegas

He has to. He runs the risk of losing ticket sales and creating a culture where losing is acceptable in the pursuit of lottery picks.

I realize we weren't supposed to be that good, but we weren't supposed to be this bad either. Bad luck and regression! He's going to have to spend a little money on some decent vets, I just hope he makes smart moves and doesn't hamstring us on long, contracts with NMCs. He's done pretty good stripping the team down and getting what looks like good prospects, just hope he's smart when he's signing people for the future!

Well isn’t that what KD is doing? Not signing good players to market rate contracts, but paying a few vets to bloated contracts to get to the cap floor?

To be fair there were lots of injuries, the Perry incident, and a couple of guys not playing as well as expected. Next season there must be some forward progression without creating cap issues down the road.

It's what he's done. I know you're resigned to your opinion that it's the same playbook this offseason. I don't see him signing the exact same players this season but we'll see.

He's signed guys he thinks will be good mentors for the younger players. I don't see him going for broke but I could see a few smart signings for middle 6 (offense intended) players to fill out the lineup.
