name a band/artist that is capable of the best and also the worst.


meaning you love some of their songs but others make you dive for the radio dial.

i'm pretty sure everyone hates nine inch nails but i admit i enjoyed pretty hate machine.

i thought almost everything else was like 'okay, we get it, bleeps and bloops and a lot of whining and letting the mics pick up your tortured inhalations between lines, you poor tortured millionaire'

i once tried to listen to all of their songs over the course of a couple weeks in an attempt to make a playlist for ipod856. 'just pick the essentials and the songs you decide you really like' i told myself.

it ended up being 217 songs long.
