we never should have stopped developing our methods of human waste disposal!
we somehow progressed from "right on the ground" to "into holes in the ground" to "sharing porcelain bowls" and just stopped there and said that's good enough.

why i always turn around and kick the handle if it's a manual flusher.
don't think my home toilets do this, and ours are in a separate little cubby from the rest of the bathroom with a pocket door, but we cover our toothbrushes and what have you from the open air and use a lot of spray sanitizer, even though the lids are closed for every flush.
