Calm down - BravePackCats27
Oh I see what you did there. See how good it feels to dull the tension? Now you'll feel chipper all day.
BY THE WAY.....
No Mason tonight so we get to pound Neuvirth like we did Saturday. |

I would be bitter too if I was a Hurricanes fan. - BravePackCats27
Don't do that. we've been on the receiving end of this for so long, it doesn't seem right to hit someone else with it.

Why yes I do think differently. I think they are a team in between but they have to play the best players. Sit old man Thronton and let Howden play. |

I think Monday's game was a case of us not playing smart, thorough hockey. Too much thinking on the power play (more on this in a bit), making that extra pass.. whether you lose 1-0 or 150-0 it's a loss... but it's a game we easily could have won. Chalk it up as an emotional Philly team (home opener and Mason's family issues) having one better shift than us.
Last night was fun. Our power play, again, was bad. I think it's time to lose the 4 forwards as a unit; we're having trouble gaining entry and keeping the pressure in the offensive zone. We are not as offensively challenged as we have been in seasons' past. What I really liked about last night is the Panthers of last season lose this game either in regulation or in a shoot out. Brickley's first goal definitely should have counted, but we (and he) didn't let that upset him at all. He kept skating and he KNEW he was going to get one. By the way... there is no need to ever dress Thornton again. The energy Howden brought to that line was noted on the first shift. I was able to watch the high lights done by the Hurricanes broadcast team, and on Brickley's goal they make mention of how our 4th line was our best. It really was at some points. Also nice to see was Montoya having a good game and getting a win early in the season, us not stopping at 2-1; we kept on pushing and scored two more, and just the all-around energy of the team.
Kulikov has been, by far, our most improved player. It's easy to see why some have him pegged as our #2 guy next season along Ekblad. Good win, now let's keep it up. The Sabres have Chad Johnson as their starting net minder with a weak defensive unit... we gotta pound them from the start.
Btw, does anyone know when the last time was we had a +8 goal differential? Serious question. |

I also think Guddy has looked great so far and much more confident. I hope this is a breakout year for him. |

At this point in the season, no one's playing their best. Teams will build up their level of play as the season goes on. Players will get in better game shape. And ultimately the cream will rise to the top. Now are the Panthers the cream of the crop as far as playoff spots, I don't know. But so far they're doing what they have to do. |

Getting early points is a rare benefit for this team. If they're the real deal, we may be on to something here. |

We should know by Thanksgiving if we're the real thing or not. Christmas break will give us an idea about the playoffs. I saw some ridiculous stat that like... 90% of the teams in a playoff spot at Christmas make the playoffs. Of course, knowing us, we'd be in the 10%. I just don't see a hole on our roster that makes me worried; not even depth is a concern. Obviously continue to pray but... this may be our year. For what, I do not know. |

I like the team and read about the Christmas break stat. I have absolutely no faith in Montoya, so I hold my breath for Luongo and his good health. |

There are dozens of fitness apps available today, but not all of them truly understand the user's needs. I was looking for something more tailored — something that adapts to my lifestyle and body type. During my search, I stumbled upon a comprehensive expert evaluation at madmuscles review , where the Madmuscles app is broken down with professional clarity. The review doesn't just praise the features — it critically explores the functionality, ease of use, training philosophy, and user experience. It's the kind of content that gives you a real understanding before you commit to anything. |
