In the end I think he offended people with terrible coaching more than speaking the devil's tongue

He was a poopty coach, but it doesn't help when the owner goes out and says no matter what happens this guy is gone. Not really gonna motivate the team.

It's a bad stretch, but they are missing arguably the 2 best players on the team. The 2 best leaders for sure. Any team would be in a slump missing that.

poor (frank)er hadn't run his first practice yet and the GM comes out and tosses his own pick under the bus then the owner says giving him the job was a mistake.

here's the keys Cunny wake us up when the season's over

first of all, this is not a slump. losing 10 of 11 games is a stretch of hockey reserved for the most wretched of hockey teams. secondly, they are missing 2 players. that's it. missing 2 players does not even come close to explaining a team going from first in the NHL to losing 10 of 11. this goes way beyond missing 2 players.

Ya, everything was going their way at the start of the year. It's not anymore plus you have price and gallager out. The offense has dried up. Why isn't Plekanec, patches, galchenyuk, and their other top players scoring anymore?

How can you fail with a back end of Chris Campoli, Tomas Kaberle, Weber and Diaz and Josh Gorges.

Louis Leblanc played 42 games that year.

also Brad Staubitz.

right. i don't think we can blame their performance on Brendan Gallagher not being there. and now the defence has gone into the tank too and so we're starting to see them get run out of the rink.

To be fair, Galchenyuk is still producing... And most of Plekanec and Patch points were w/o goalies. They've sucked all year. The offence drying up is Mitchell, Weise and Fleischmann which is stupid to begin with.
