Great article to read. The leafs will definelty have a lot of salary cap over the next couple of years. Hopefully they play it smart and with the management group they have, I have faith that they will.

If they make smart moves, the leafs have the corner stones to build a cup contending team. If Tavares wants to come to Toronto, the leafs have the cap room to accommodate.

Is Tavares a pipe dream? I'm still waiting for one of the hometown boys to come and play for the leafs. I know we just did this with stamkos lol but, that was different lol Stamkos didn't know if they would contend. JT has the luxury of seeing how great that the leafs look this year
