Him and I have been spatting the past couple weeks.. for some reason he really hates Drance and Dayal. Which, fair enough you don't like their opinions, but any time I post something from them (usually in the mornings as they have their stuff up on the Athletic that I read with breakfast) he loses it. Can't seem to or want to grasp the other side of the equation.

He has this penchant to also make a remark in a new blog that carries things over from previous conversations. If he let things slide the whole place would be much more amicable.

If Drance and Dayal were out there writing great things about Benning he'd be posting links daily. He's so hitched to Benning he still posts every time Gudbranson gets a point as though magically now he's a great player we gave up on too soon.

But doesn’t that also apply to journalists? They are being paid to publish their opinions so using same logic, they should know more than us. You might disagree with what they write but doesn’t mean they don’t know what they are talking about.

IT also doesn't prevent him from being an armchair GM himself nor criticizing other GM's. It's just another stupid Vantel argument. For example, we shouldn't criticize LE because he's a professional hockey player and we aren't.

For someone who spends all day writing/talking about hockey for free, he sure hates people who spend all day writing/talking about hockey for money.

I like how he questioned if the "little boy" (Dayal) even knew hockey the other day. Like Sportnet brings on random people from the street to talk during intermission

A poster puts up a hockey related post that is controversial at best. Several posters counter it, gang created.

Does anybody really think that a team 1 point behind with 6 games in hand isn't going to surpass the team they're chasing or at least have a really good chance to?

I can guarantee if we had those 6 games in hand on another team they'd flip their opinion.
