Huh? He had a very real chance of winning, especially with how the Democrats/Biden/Harris trotted things out... and lo and behold he won.

That doesn't take away from the fact he's a moron. He postures all the time – just like him saying he was going to bring down grocery prices before the election and now he's saying oh no it's really hard to do that. Or that healthcare was going to be easy to solve. Or the war in Ukraine. Or or or.

- NewYorkNuck

He's most definitely not a moron, is he a flawed human being, clearly, but he's not a moron. Business people say a lot of shit but it's all a to gain leverage somehow. If you don't think he knows what he's doing you're lying to yourself.

Nope. He’s a moron. He’s not a good business person either. He’s a horrible business man.

He's smart enough to scam people, can totally give him that. He's a grifter.

Keep laughing, you won't know what hit you because you're so enthralled with meaningless stuff. Picking one bad person doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's doing. If that were the case no politician on earth would know what they're doing because none of them are without miss cues.

Miscue? Choosing a person to be the Attorney General (who's role is the head of the Department of Justice and chief law enforcement officer of the Federal Government) who was known to have paid an underaged girl for sex is now considered a miscue and meaningless to you MAGA fools?

Yes, I'll keep laughing.

Foolish ignorance, but I expect that from you. Those are accusations, whether they happened or not is left to a court of law, he’s never been charged. To my knowledge. But you’re correct, a bad choice even with rumours of it.

If you look deeper into it though, he’s loyal to Trump, something he didn’t have first time around. That guy is a dog on a bone lawyer and Trump wanted to go after people. My assumption is he didn’t pick him because he was an outstanding citizen, he picked him because he would doggedly go after the people he wanted to go after, and more importantly, carry out his agenda.

You’re naïve if you think they pick upstanding citizens for these positions, they pick people who will listen to them and carry out their wishes. Both sides of the fence in government are full of slimy people.

It’ll never happen, he’s just playing chess while Trudeau plays checkers, there’s a means to an end with his rhetoric. He’s doing it for leverage. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. PP is a staunch defender of the British heritage in Canada, idiot, Canada needs a huge reset. It’s essentially a huge Ponzi scheme with a completely useless charter of rights. If we were truly a sovereign nation a representative of the British crown wouldn’t be allowed to dissolve our parliament, or prorogue it.

“Why are Trump's 51st state comments resonating so loudly in Canada? Because of Trudeau himself.

When Justin Trudeau first won election in 2015, he told an American newspaper:

‘‘There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada." He said we're "the first postnational state." Source: nytimes.com/2015/12/13/mag…

Since then, he's taken our founding prime minister off the $10 bill; he's altered our national anthem; he's accused Canada of committing "genocide" against our Indigenous people (but he won't say that about China and the Uyghurs). He's removed historical symbols from our passport.

He regularly accuses Canadians of being racist and sexist, even as he dresses up in blackface, and sexually assaulted Rose Knight in Creston, B.C. (He said she just "experienced it differently"). Source: youtube.com/watch?v=rsFYkh…

He's devalued our citizenship, giving millions of foreigners unvetted access to Canada and saying we have lots to learn from returning ISIS terrorists. Source: x.com/RealSaavedra/s… He's scrapped the citizenship test for new Canadians.

He's denuded our military to the point where we can't even participate in NATO war games because we lack modern equipment, but he can afford tampon dispensers in male bathrooms in military bases.

His veteran affairs department now recommends assisted suicide to vets with PTSD. Source: cbc.ca/news/politics/…

I could go on.

In short, he has done everything to demoralize Canada, and to denature us.

That's why Trump's statements about becoming the 51st state sting. That's why they hit home.

Because for a decade, Trudeau and every institution in the country -- the regime media; the universities; the courts; the Parliament -- has said Canada means nothing.

Every one of Trudeau's actions says "Canada means nothing", it's really just a hotel.

Well, Trump knows about hotels. Why would't he try to buy one -- especially one that's so dilapidated?”

He surrounded himself with “loyal” people his first term. One by one they started to realize he’s an idiot and turned on him. No one from his first term is anywhere to be seen now. Not even his own daughter and son in law. He’s a fool surrounded by fools.

And if you think the evidence in the classified investigation into Gaetz didn’t find anything then you’re a fool. The congressional investigation said there is eveidence he did it. Why he isn’t charged? Who knows? Trump would just pardon him anyway. All the Jan 6th people that were convicted and then crossed illegally into Canada and claimed asylum are just waiting their pardons to head back. There will be just as much turmoil and turnover in his staff this term.

“Let's recap the situation in Canada:

* our unemployment is growing while the number of jobs is shrinking.
* economy is slowly collapsing.
* public sector jobs growth outpacing private sector jobs growth disguising the true problem.
* record people using foodbanks.
* record people can't afford housing.
* Justin Trudeau Liberals mass immigrated millions of low skilled labour now they are trying to get out of Canada.
* we have record amount of asylum claims and people living off taxpayers.
* crime is getting out of control.
* people are dying waiting for healthcare.
* euthanasia became a healthcare tool.
* we paying some of the highest prices for pretty much everything.
* we carbon taxing ourselves.
* while being an energy powerhouse our energy costs are ridiculous.
* we have supplychain cartels making our own products more expensive for Canadians.
* we red tape inter provincial trade for no particular reason.
* when all taxes accounted for Canadians are paying 50%+ in taxes with less to show for it.
* the Liberals are wanting to increase taxes farther - capital gains rates at which the CRA already collects.
* record amount of people overdosing from drugs - much of it supplied and lost by the government.
* terrorist cheerleaders are freely walking and shutting down our streets.
* we have more and more places in Canada where it's becoming impossible to campaign in English.
* 30% of our trucking industry is black market.
* our quality of life is rapidly dropping.
* our GDP Per Capita is at the same level it was 10 years ago.
* CAD dropped 8% vs the USD last year.
* half of the assets in our military aren't functional and we are depleted to the point personal buying their own gear.
* we have had the most corrupt government in Canada's history for 10 years.
* we can't hold anyone in the public sector or politicians accountable to anything.
* at least 11 of our Members of Parliament are working with and for the benefit of foreign governments.
* the Liberals tabled a $61.9B deficit in our budget on the last day of HoC and ran away.
* there are no plans at all to get back to balanced budgets.
* we don't have a Finance Minister.
* our Prime Minister said he will resign.
* our government has been prorogued so we essentially have no governance.
* a good 30% of Canadians would still vote for all of the above showing just how many idiots we have.
* the Liberals don't want you to question any of the above and keep trying to introduce Bills infringing our freedom of speech.
* our biggest partner and closest ally wants to put 25% tariffs on us and annex us.
* but at least we have tampons in the men's washrooms.

So here we are.”

No he didn’t, shows me you have no idea of what you’re speaking to.

“Trump's Cabinet is shaping up to be a "Team of Loyalists." It's in many ways a very different type of group than what he put together in 2016. Back then, Trump was a political newbie. He did not know the ways of Washington — or have many friends in it.”

“So, many of his picks came from more traditional GOP circles. There was a lot of "getting to know you" that went on — and a lot of ruffled feathers and conflicts when some stood in his way. That's changed this time around as his strength with the party's base has ballooned.

Trump is surrounding himself with people who can amplify his message and are simpatico with how he wants to remake the executive branch.”

Bullpoop. They were his hand picked “A-team” that he had in all the top spots. If you believe the article you posted you’re dumber than most. 14 cabinet spots and multiple other positions churned over his last term. Some of them 3-4 times. 92% of positions he appointed turned over. If you think those were all just because he picked people not loyal to him you’re an idiot.

You’re wrong, and you don’t like it, so you start name calling and attacking.

He didn’t really know what he was doing and followed GOP lines, he did not pick people who were staunchly faithful to him last time. This is not a secret, you’re still wrong.

Taxing the rich has been tried over and over and over again all over the world as a method to create a more fair and equitable society. It always fails. Wealth creates jobs. Take away the wealth and less jobs get created. People whining about billionaires is hilarious to me. Go work hard and build a business for yourself. Quit whining about what others have and you don’t.

Canada's "great universal healthcare" at it again.

A 4 year old died in my town, she was having breathing problems so her parents rushed her down to the ER. Only to find out our ER closes at 10pm. They had to call an ambulance from the next town over, by the time it arrived, it was too late.

Hospitals across Canada are shutting down completely, or limiting their hours due to low staff and resources.

Please, tell me WHY we are shipping in tens of thousands of immigrants when we can't even take care of our own people?

WHY are we paying such outrageous taxes for "free health care" when it's not even accessable.

WHY does a family have to mourn their CHILD for no other reason than a collapsing healthcare system

Tragedy for sure but that was not a “Canada issue”, it was an Alberta issue. Healthcare is a provincial responsibility and Alberta’s healthcare system is in shambles. Their pres and ceo just quit.

Alberta cares more about sucking Trumps cock than taking care of their people.
