According to the Daily Herald:
If no more regular-season games are played, it creates a conundrum in terms of how to determine which teams qualify for the postseason.
Anything and everything is reportedly on the table, including:
• Determining playoff teams based on points percentage.
• Allowing four more teams into the postseason, which would create a play-in round for the 7-10 seeds.
• Another suggestion was to give the top four teams in each conference byes, and make the 5-12 seeds play a best-of-three series.
• Then, when there are eight teams remaining in each conference, make all playoff series best-of-five until the Stanley Cup Final, which would remain best-of-seven.

Went to Costco today....
Turned around and walked out.
Every line to check out ran the entire length of the store.
People are dumb. - .HOHO.
People rushed out to be in a crowd and expose themselves to all kinds of vectors. I saw I had a sack of potatoes still, oats, and some frozen fish and veg still and said (frank) it, I'm not (frank)ing shopping right now. |

I haven't been to the beer store yet. Couldn't carry all of it.
Also, crappy tire at main square danforth is out of toilet paper. I cannot believe how idiotic people are. - TheMussel
Ya just found out my wife just spent over a $100 at lcbo too. I guess we don’t talk and had the same idea.
Still not the worst thing in the world. Maybe she’s more concerned with being home with the kids for 3 weeks. |

Mulroney accepted bribes.
I can't believe the franker has the nerve to keep showing his face.
I listened to him at a luncheon speaking thingy a couple of years ago (no, I did not buy a ticket - I was a somewhat reluctant guest). He actually gave a good speech, and I do have to give him props for what he did with Mandela/South Africa.
But his arrogance slowly seeped through - by the end of it, it brought back warm memories of me wanting to punch him in the face.
Bottom line: he took cash for favours. He's a disgrace to Canada. - Atomic Wedgie
Agree 100%
Remember being at a Jays game with my dad where Mulroney sat not far from me and there was a "Tuna Scandal" raging in Canada . His then minister of Fisheries John Fraser ordered the sale of Tuna to the public that was declared unfit for human consumption. Mulroney's face turned bright red as the crowd chanted "TUNA, TUNA, TUNA....." What a piece of sh!t .... probably took money for that as well. |

if Canadian gov't would be rational, they'd close schools , elderly homes (for visits) and non - essential medical visits from this weekend on for 3 weeks or so.
lessons learnt from China, Italy and a few other countries if you don't run drastic checks from the early getgo (i.e. like Singapore), better of sitting it out.
of course lots of countries and regions are/will be too late and it will cost lives and lots of taxpayer's money.. (much more than it could have). - MaximusAurelius
