Don't go out on a media day and say stuff about your medical, how does it not hurt his value, he wants a surgery never done on a Hockey player, he obviously is at the point in his rehab that it feels to him it's not working. Plus it can hurt how many teams get involved or how they put value on him know.

Adding teams to the mix that weren’t real contenders to get him doesn’t push up the price

I feel like there will be enough to do that though
Whether Adams is crafty enough to get a great return remains to be seen

That's a weird way to look at it. So he's pissed, that's fine, still should have never brought the medical out, could have went to arbitration which he has chosen not to do yet, and probably hasnt done it yet because his doctors agreed to the designated therapy for him.

Of course Jack's better, doesn't mean the pieces we could get back won't make us a better team. Of course I am mad at Jack, we all should be. What he did could hurt the team in a trade scenario. Every team looking to trade for Jack is looking into what this Surgery is all about, some teams will stay in it but some teams will drop out or be more hesitant to give a big return. I don't want to trade Jack, but I would want the best return for him if it happens and he could have really hurt that.

Just cause there incompetent doesn't mean I shouldn't want them to get the best deal for him if they trade him. What he did could effect that. Take it to arbitration, didn't need to do it to in the media, I will bet anything he hasn't done that because his own doctor agreed on the treatment he is doing.
