Goalies aren't worth anything in trades.

Podkolzin can become a serviceable player IMO, but right now, he's hot garbage. The play just dies with him continually. He works his tail off but he accomplishes absolutely nothing out there right now!

Hoglander is fine for a second round pick, he contributes and works hard. Rathbone has skill but he needs to learn to play his position better to be an effective NHL'er. Boeser is always hurt but he does have four 20 goal seasons in five years, scoring goals in the NHL isn't easy, he's a poor mans Mark Stone, another 20 goal poor skater.

I'm going to check Buffalo to see how many kids they have 25 years old or younger on their team that they've drafted.

He may have already tossed the towel in lol no way he is this bad. Has to be mental as well. Just frame of mind. Demko 'should' be the franchise goalie we have been banking on. Can't see him being moved.

I don’t believe in that blanket statement. Each circumstance is unique unto itself. In this scenario I think you have a goaltender in his prime (Demko) who fits in rather nicely with the current state of affairs in Los Angeles for the Kings. Quick is done, the team is definitely on the upswing, they have a great prospect pool, Petersen is struggling….it just makes sense. To me!
