Trading away your top scorers every year does not sound like a secret to success either. Most teams will pay their top scorers to resign. The proper offer for a trade was not there so they got handcuffed.

I am against the term of the contract like everyone else.

We have all been here for years and thrown many ideas and complaints against the wall thinking we have the answers. The truth is this is such a big cluster(frank) that there is no one solution. The only thing we haven't tried is a complete teardown and that is why most here support it.

The person in my opinion that has been closest to the truth is Steaming Lombardi when he says the owner DGAF he is making tons of money and won't change things.

No team has ever traded down when someone they have ranked in the top 10 is available at their pick. It just doesn't happen. ManVanFan has pointed out a few Dmen we could have gotten if we turned out 15 OA into 2 2nds, and none are enticing enough to do it in my eyes.

Unless we take back Zaitsev, I doubt Miller. Even then idk if they have the space to acquire him. They have Debrincat and Zub to resign and not a ton of cap space with Stuzle's new contract kicking in.
