This, can't remember the last time I was genuinely excited for Canuck hockey heading into a season opener. I always miss watching hockey, but I don't miss watching this team attempt to play it.

I guess it depends on if you're speaking about a specific fan or the fanbase as a whole. The casuals out number the hockey nerds like us and I think they've finally realized that this core isn't good.
