Patrice Bergeron with point number 1000 tonight, has to be one of the best second round picks in NHL history. Five Selke Trophies and 1000 points is pretty incredible.

I’m sure Reuby would’ve ran him outta town if he were a Canuck, rules are different for our players LOL! Bergeron is just a classy person, he also had a great mentor in Zdeno Chara. Much like a Joe Sakic, Patrice Bergeron lead by example. Bob Gainey won four Selke trophies and had 500 points, think about that, that’s how good Bergeron is. He’s +265 for his career….truly amazing.
