That's why linden left. He had to much of a moral compass to be used as a cover for FA. If he have stayed it would have been too aquamans exclusion. - Pres.cup
Do you ever get tired of making stuff up?! quite a Sunday brewing here! |

Yes. Many more people online complaining about the product these days and not watching it is not a really great stat. I have watched half the games and previously never missed one.

You can never have enough soft Swede forwards.

18th pick would be alright. Hearing a lot of teams are looking for players with term. Would imagine previous signed contracts are going to start to look good from what's up coming. See example 8.5X8 for Bo Horvat |

Bo is soft as well. Let's see if he can continue to produce at this level? |

The guy I'd like to get with the 2nd pick is Dragicevic.

I don't think I will follow his progress past the end of this year.

I just looked for the very first time at the list of prospects. There are not a lot of D on the list and even fewer Dmen over six foot. So seeing Dragicevic listed at 18 I would bet some GM takes him top 10.

There's almost no possible way the Canucks could (frank) it up but yet I have no little faith that they won't.
Right now Dragicevic, Allen, Bonk, Reinbacher and Pellikka are all projected to play 200+ NHL games. I wouldn't have a problem if they picked any of those guys.
Yager, Smith, Dvorsky all seem to be around that 6-8 in most consensus rankings.
Bob's list has 13 D in the 2nd round. Would be nice to pick up another 2nd because I like Mathieu Cataford and Lenni Hameenaho also in the 2nd round. (yes they are both wingers) Yes they are both under 6' at 5'11" but they both can skate fast and will engage in corners willfully. (Michael Bunting types) |

#Isles GM Lou Lamoriello would not give specifics on Bo Horvat contract:
"It's too long and it's too much money."

Probably not what you want to hear from your GM after signing a new contract.

At some point the Islanders are probably going to be hurt by their lack of high end prospects and picks.
At the same time, Horvat-Barzal-Dobson-Sorokin is a pretty nice core group to build around for the next half-decade or so. - VanHockeyGuy
That sounds familiar:

wow big over pay in my mind. Guess we will see his numbers in a non contract year not shooting 10% better then career average. Old man Lou really had no choice but to sign him. They gotta win 22 of 30 to make playoffs. I would guess we prob. have a good chance to get this years pick. What would you rather have a 13th to 16th pick this year or next year unprotected. |

Barzal and Horvat makes them pretty strong down the middle. We'll see if it handcuffs them. At least Lu is building from the middle out.... only a retard would build around the wingers....

True... And untradeable wingers lol..... They gotta sign Sorokin soon. Lots of questions on long Island. With no prospects in pipeline and the first round picks traded. They could be in rough shape in the future. Much like what BO had here for a situation. They are really banking on BO turning around their fortunes there. |
