A lot of comments on here that make me think some posters think that this management group is thinking outside the box and four steps ahead of everything.
I think they are in reality four steps behind the circle still looking for a box.
I really would be shocked if they did a sign and trade for JTM or trade Beau. I think they are at the stage of looking for pieces to fit in and try to keep their heads at water level.

The violent crime rate there(by capita) is insane. Overrun by drug addicts and First Nations gangs shooting each other broad daylight at public venues etc.... hard to find anyone there who isn't a victim of theft. Population is only around 25k... it's disgusting.
Quesnel was way better 15 years ago but Prince George and Williams Lake gangs have now turned it into New Williams Lake BC. Not much different. I was happy to bail on Qtown even though I lived just outside of town. - boonerbuck
Gangs? Why? What are they fighting for control over? The drug trade? There’s only 25,000 people. Not much of a drug trade. Gambling? Prostitution?

Right... you think it has to be on a cartel level or something for it to be called gangs?
Yes... multiple gangs in fact. The main FN gang from PG has been battling other groups for the regional market and the violence is out of control. There is an incredible amount of poverty in the region. It has the highest population density of FN in Canada and there are no shortage of the other population with or without money on drugs up here.
Gangs will kill each other over a market of a few hundred drug addicts. This is true in the big city and it's no less true in the Cariboo atm.
Both the UN gang and Hells Angels are active in 100 Mile which has also gone down hill in the last decade. Lots of drugs here but there isn't really a war going on like WL, Qtown and PG. A couple of months before I left Qtown, there was a broad day light hit downtown. A few weeks later there was a police shootout with another thug. Broad daylight in the parking lot of the hockey arena where their team plays. Kids in the rink... something like 5 or 6 cops opened fire at once.
Things have gone to hell up here. Not that you would know anything about it. I've lived here for over 20 years now.

Quesnel RCMP. One of many busts in recent years....

And that’s just the ones that you know about! … kind of.

I had an ex from 100 mile who used to talk about a few girls in her high school that bragged about going to some drug dealers house and giving someone there a BJ for $20 whenever they needed money like it was a good deal for them.

Nothing has given me any indication that this front office is ahead of the curve. To get out of this mess Aqua needed to hire a front office that could out-perform most of the front offices around the league(tough task, but also justly reality) and this one to me seems mediocre at best judging by their moves so far.

As much as I'm at loathe to do so, I'll give this group the summer.

I mean, that'd be nice, but i'm not sure it's needed.
Sorry to be pedantic there, but a few decent moves and some patience is all that's required imo.
Most importantly, not making any further short term/shot sighted mistakes

I knew girls like that in my teens everywhere I lived(bigger cities). Couldn't imagine it would be any different in small towns.
Some girls I hung out with had older dudes who would party them up or give them cash for sex but they never walked the streets and always secretly sneaked off to their disgusting sugar daddies. A few of these girls were under 16... The guys I knew on hard drugs used violence to achieve the same goal. Robberies, break ins, grab and dashes etc...

Which posters give you the indication that they think this management group is thinking outside the box? I haven’t seen anyone that is high on this management group. The president sounds like he wants to quit! Hopefully he does it publicly and tells the media that he couldn’t handle Aquilinis meddling

It's been accepted by everyone that FA meddles but the fact that JR admitted he should have quit hockey after the Pittsburg gig indicates he is second guessing himself. This is the only thing revealed so far...
Told yea Bo wasn't the dude to pull people over the line. Don't think JT is either. but I would vote him as the guy who yells at whoever doesn't cross the line.
No idea what Bel Biv Da Beauvillier brings to the table. I leave that knowledge to the roster smarties.
Read the column, not gonna read all 30 pages....but I did see Prez post.

Where’s the Hell’s Angels when you need them? At least when they were solely in control you knew what to expect.

They and other large gangs from the LM are the ones supplying the drugs to these interior gangs. I don't think they care who kills who as long as the money flows back to them.
100 mile has a relatively smaller FN population. Less poverty as well. Retirement/elderly makes up a significant part of the population. So the Hells Angels are still supplying the drugs but it's not as raw as the poorer parts of the Cariboo north of here.
