I get the Brisbois call-up (to an extent - Wolanen has been horrific) but PDG has been playing quite well, considering his role and Raty just came out and said he's been playing horribly at the AHL level, so why on earth would bringing him up to the big squad be considered a good idea?

PDG requires waivers if he plays 1 more game. Makes sense to send him down.

RD has hinted the same.
Elliotte names Bruins and Pens as 2 teams still in on Schenn. Mentions there's some other teams as well but those are the 2 teams he's hearing consistently.
they took on 4.5 mil of Zaitzev to acquire a 2nd and a 4th.
fair to say a 2nd is valued at 3 mil??? & a 4th = 1.5??? - Brooks_Light
Not quite cause he has one more year at 4.5 next year. I dont think that would have been terrible for the Canucks though cause im not expecting this d to be foxed in one year

Not signing...
But the big question goes unanswered. McDonough has previously said he plans on signing with the Canucks before becoming unrestricted in August. Today he deferred to the offseason:
"I'm honestly just really focused on playing my season, finishing out and going as far as we can."
