I'd say something around Schenn + Boeser for Weegar...but I don't think we want Weegar until he is 37. Likely still a good top 4 guy until 34/35 though.

Don't see teams trade players 4 months after signing them long-term very often, not sure I've ever seen it happen. Good player though.

Probably, I think him lighting up the AHL and then getting 2 goals in 2 games during a call up made everyone think he was going to blow up this year. I didn't realize he is already 23...

Wouldn't it be one of the other guys not freshly signed long-term? Tanev or Zadorov? Also, trading with us seems very unlikely. They are not interested in helping our d get better.

Wouldn't it be one of the other guys not freshly signed long-term? Tanev or Zadorov? Also, trading with us seems very unlikely. They are not interested in helping our d get better.

It will definitely go up. GMs and Owners are already pushing for it. There was an article posted at some point in the 1k pages of Carols last blog that said many GM's are upset at another year with no real cap increase, which makes it too difficult to keep players.

Silovs has 2 years of AHL experience (on top of the Latvia mens league).. I think he's better prepared than MikeyD was coming straight from the OHL
