There are a lot of goalies that played more than 10 NHL games and most of them turned into very good goalies.

There are also some very good goalies from under 10 games list. Rask, Gibson, Markstrom, Quick. They were good in their games though. Save percentages above .850 and goals against under 4.

I doubt that Silovs is going to play 10 games this year and it doesn't look like he's going to go under 4 goals and over .850 save percentage.

Times are different though.

Andrei Vasilevskiy, Spencer Knight, Jake Oettinger, Connor Hellebuyck, Juuse Saros, Thatcher Demko, Carter Hart, Joonas Korpisalo, Stuart Skinner, John Gibson, have all played games at 20-21-22 years old and became current starters.

Silvos is just getting a taste of what the NHL is like. He hasn’t been bad, but he hasn’t been good either. Who knows what he’ll become.
