I’m so old I remember when the Rockets were always good, not so much anymore. Junior hockey has lost a little too much of the nastiness, I miss the Scott Parker’s and Mitch Fritz of the Dub! I was at a game in New West to watch my nephew get schooled by Link Gates, good times.

He had his favourites, was banned more than once by him.
Just think a hockey blog should be about hockey, even if you disagree with each other.

It's not nearly as nasty. Still comes out once in awhile but that was the first thing I noticed getting back into it. It's a much softer more forgiving game now at that level. A hugfest at times. Even the Coaches are subdued. Honestly, I really miss the sheer passion of the older style game. It made for great entertainment.

I've only deliberately flagged one comment on here. I forget who but they called another poster a pedo. I would have cranked the guy if he was sitting next to me and made the comment, so I did the next best thing and flagged it.

After reading the debates on direction I wonder if Canuck management is also doing same.

Honestly don’t know if we trade everyone, if possible, it will make a bit of difference. It’s another limbo staying in the bottom trying to develop picks.

What’s needed is a combo of trades signings and good drafting. One stud player at every position gets you to the promised land.

I very much appreciate when we stick to hockey. I get people hang out here and sometimes discussions drift which can be okay, I prefer hockey talk and you guys do a LOT of it here. Often. However, Religion and politics get people so riled up and you aren't going to change anyone's mind so there's no point to discussing it, let alone on a hockey site.

Very reasonable. It's just very frustrating when there is already a long discussion going on for pages and a mod comes in barking at the 8th person in on it. That isn't a problem anymore though.
