It's not nearly as nasty. Still comes out once in awhile but that was the first thing I noticed getting back into it. It's a much softer more forgiving game now at that level. A hugfest at times. Even the Coaches are subdued. Honestly, I really miss the sheer passion of the older style game. It made for great entertainment.

Van is already retaining on Horvat, not worth it if they're planning on retaining on other players they move this TDL (allowed max 3). Wishful thinking they will trade/retain, but still a possibility...

Let's be honest... with Makita policing the Canucks thread, dozens of people did and were allowed to talk Vax and politics. There were maybe less than a half dozen that were not allowed on the other hand.

My support was always no one, or everyone should be allowed. I still feel that way. Last time I challenged him over that I stuck to my guns and got a week ban. A couple of weeks later there he was... discussing politics in the Canucks thread and I called him on it and he couldn't deny it... proving my ban was not justified.

Do you guys think the nucks can get anything for boeser? No dumba jokes. Maybe a 3rd and retain like 25percent and take back a contract that expires next year. Don't use the money to sign anyone just have it to facilitate trades and get draft.picks

If they hold on to 33% he only costs 4.2M which would put him around the 300th ranked salary in the NHL. His offensive production is around 150 range.

His contract then would become pretty good value.

Kind of depends on whether or not teams are scouting him. Yes he does somehow score points but he is a soft AF passenger that is not a top 6 forward on a playoff team. We all know he is a disaster defensively so you can’t give him hard minutes in the bottom 6.
