Tossing this out there…

Boeser stays to see if he gets back his scoring touch &/or to up his value.

So who to move between Garland or Beauvillier comes to mind.? Garland has more term. Beau looks like he has more game & cheaper & still under contract next year.

Only a matter of time before he's displaced by a halfling.

It wasn't mentioned but what I was listening to was from the 17th. Friedman wasn't trying to screw with Canucks fans until yesterday.

I had not thought of WPG but that could be interesting. PLD has pretty well said he isn't going to sign with Wpg. I doubt WPG wants to mess too much with how they are playing right now.

Maybe add Miller now and then re-coop the assets they trade for Miller with trading away PLD in the summer time.

That would be a huge incentive for Jets to throw a big offer on JTM. So who are their top prospects that benefit Canucks that could come back with a 1st?

Obviously Hogs is who you are thinking of to replace Boeser. But the hockey gods will send Bedard just to show you how that works. 😉🙃🤣

It makes some sense for Wpg if they want to try to stay competitive with their current core.

Winnipeg doesn't have the strongest prospects. They have options though, for whatever your needs are.

Breaking: Sources say #Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews will not be moved prior to the #NHL trade deadline.

I’m told Toews and Chicago made a joint decision as he needs more time to recover from his latest illness. He hasn’t played since Jan. 28.

Most importantly for Toews, there does not appear to be any major long-term health concerns and it’s possible Toews could return to the lineup in March.

But out of fairness to other teams, Toews felt his body was not cooperating to compete at a high level right now.

Sorry, been watching Nashville vs Minny. Minny is flying to start.

Familiarity from playing their last season. Reclamation project plus a pick still. Sens don't need more prospects.

- manvanfan

Sens need specific pieces to augment their youth. Goalie be one. I like how they are trending.
Norris cannot stay healthy.

That’s a very plausible scenario. I guess it depends on JR/PA & what would come back. Jets have some interesting assets to offer. If JTM goes the C position gets very very weak.

.77 ppg in an off year is strangely impressive. Especially not being on PP1 most of the season.

McGroarty
Salomonsson
Lucius
1st rounder

All are interesting given it’s the right mix in a package deal.

I give Hog this year & next to decide if he’s an NHLer for us or move on from him. He’s in a large age group league wide that & are closing in on make or break time. Change of scenery maybe idk.

Norris turning into Colin White for them.

Better goaltending, better defence.

They have a lot of pieces for sure. Nothing spectacular or all that NHL ready though. Lambert and Luciuz both sent to the WHL this year after some time with the Moose.

David Gustaffson former 2nd rounder. Ville Heinola LHD that Bowness doesn't seem to be too high on. Danny Zhilkin.

Raty 1 point 7 games for Abby. Terrible start so far.

I know Stanley has taken a step back but maybe they try a Stanley a first and Lucious for JTM.

That would leave a big hole at center for Canucks.

Tab Bamford

For interested parties, teams represented at the United Center today for #Blackhawks vs Leafs

LAK, NSH, WPG (2), SEA, BUF, BOS, TBL, DET, NYR, NJD, WSH, EDM, VGK, FLA, ANA

So yeah about half of the league will be here

Doesn't look like anyone was interested in scouting Canucks/Philly last night

McGroarty has size & nice tool kit to be a future centre. Like his skating to be more fluid. Salomonsson a big young RHD. Those 2 be my focus.

In Stanley he’s at best a #4 D probably 3rd pairing just my take but worth the chance as the 3rd piece in a package.

I would love the best prospects in the Jet's system. I just don't see them doing it. If you are asking Jet's to take on 7 years 8M a season, they are going to need good ELC to off set that.

Off the top of my head for my 1st thought on an offer. Need more research tbh.

My thought as well. Too easy to fall in luv with size on D. Too often it becomes highly overrated.
