When I was at the World Juniors in Edmonton last summer, we went to buy drinks at one of the games. We each got 1, and for 4 of us the total was over $80

We started just going to pubs before/after the games instead.

(frank) off man. It's really annoying to scroll past such garbage every day. Vintage even said it in your stupid other blog.

Yeah I mean we were always gonna, but we stopped buying literally anything at the stadium. Just bring in a water bottle and a granola bar instead.

It's funny the hipsters at the brew pubs here in the Okanagan will gladly pay $10 plus tax & tip for a hoppy crap beer.

Unless I'm given tickets to an NHL game I'll probably never attend one again, UNLESS, we make a special trip like we plan to next year to Philly.

My wife and I just went to the WM Phoenix Open here in Scottsdale, we got Sunday seats in the grandstand just off #18 green, the tickets were $126 each and they included all food and an open bar. Now that's how you get your money's worth at a sporting event. We both had 10am brunch, 3pm lunch and I drank 10 Coors Banquet (in 8 hours).

Went to a game here last week (Eisbaren Berlin in the German national league), tickets for lower bowl were $25 and beer was $5. Was a raucous crowd too, very European chanting/flag waving during the length of the game

Young women will walk into a coffee shop down here and spend $6.75 on a latte with a shot of caramel or vanilla and then tip $2 on top of that...for a frickin coffee!! Beers at the Coyotes games are $16, they're the big beers, but still. The whole world is stupid, they have too much disposable money, or they have no idea how to manage money.

Speaking of, there's an IPA down here called "Church Music", wow is it good. So much flavor as opposed to the piss like Budweiser people call beer. Yuck!!

7.50 beers at the WHL games here. 5 bucks on industry nights.

I've been watching SHL games and the crowd actually watches the game and chants the entire game.

Strange from what you see on TV where most are just staring at their phones at NHL games.

I think it is more Money Management issues that people have. USA is a mix of 1st world country with 2nd and 3rd world making up the majority. People just like their luxuries and want to pretend they are rich...

Ya, people are pretty invested/noisy when it comes to their teams. Different atmosphere for sure

The kids will gladly pay, more money than brains.

My buddies son got a basic haircut at some hipster barbershop here in town last week for $70.

I like a good physical hockey game, we'll probably see more when the stakes get higher. Not that Vancouver needs to be concerned with that.

Bs bs. They're tanking NOW... but only because they sucked so much to start the year. You think they made all those signings and trades last summer as a planned tank? Nah.
- NewYorkNuck

Who cares. They are actively tanking and trying to rid the organization of Benning and Aquilinis sh!t
