Reaves would be expensive. Hathaway you could get maybe for a mil on a two or three year deal. When he loses his game send him down to the farm.

I am beginning to like Joshua and having a fourth line with one more edgy guy would be nice.

When you are a garbage team, you at least need to entertain the fans with some physicality. I think Reaves could be under 2 million, Hathaway would be fine, Joshua was a bit nastier in St. Louis, the odd time I seen him play, but Bruce likes soft hockey, so there is that.

BTW, Reaves currently makes 1.75, so something around that would be fine

Ya, why pay a player who is physical and can take on all comers, this team doesn't need anyone like that.
With the team saying they are performing major surgery, it would be a good idea to have a couple guys like that around for a year or 2.

Not everyone is going to give a hometown discount like Schenn, who will probably be getting paid about 1.5 this next contract.

Either way we need some toughness if Schenn is traded. Reaves would be great IMO. Would love to see someone take a run at Petey or Hughes with Reaves out there. Un less the country-club here turns him into a pussy that is.
