I don’t mind the Hronek acquisition. The Canucks record of drafting and development is soooo poopty at least Hronek is a NHLer. Can’t say that for anything after the top 10 this year. I doubt our 1st from last year even becomes a fulltime NHL player. I don’t trust this organization with Picks outside of the top 10. And even then we pick Virtanens and Joulevi’s half the time.

I want a rebuild, and we actually had an extra 1st rounder for the first time in a long time. As well as the potential to add more picks.
Except this team just couldn't handle having that kind of change in their pocket and went kid in a candy store instead.
I hope NYI doesn't give up their pick and it is top5 next year now...

I don’t hate it at all, providing it’s the Islanders pick…LOL! A 25 year old right shot dman fits perfectly in a five year window for Pettersson, Hughes and the player they pick 1-6th overall.

I suspect there’s more coming though, trades…

We finally have our right side D man to play with Quinn. Like the player, hate the cost. Per Pagnotta Vancouver has several irons in the fire so lets hope we can move out some money and regain some picks.
