Parayko is a whipping boy right now and his advanced defensive stats are quite good.
- sabresfan69

Cause Parayko is good... ST Louis fans are dumb. Their team stinks. And their goalie is a child stuck in a teenagers body

Cya at the draft

Gerbe putting his reputation on the line.

At least we will have someone else to complain about if nothing happens.

At 29 there is no way he fits their timeline anymore.

He is rumored to be available. Perfect partner for Power.

With that contract he will come cheaper than expected.

All would be right with the world if we can get Saros... and I think there is a chance he gets traded. Only 2 years left at 5 large and Nashville is clearly rebuilding/tooling. They have one of the best young goalies in the AHL and there is no way they are going to pay a Saros more then what they are now when they all ready have his replacement.

I say give Nashville a 1st and a 2nd and a player OLO for Saros. worst case we get a Proven top tired goalie for 2 years at 5 large and we can prob flip him at the end of the 25-26 season for at least a 2nd. oh and we prob make the playoffs those 2 years.

Damn it GMKA to it.

Kiskakov is looking great so far, with his 7 total points in 38 games in Rochester to date this season.

Just read The Athletic article on Buffalo’s moves thus far and it inferred that Josh Bloom did not want to be in Buffalo’s pipeline.

Any info. On this ?

That's not a shocker, players want to see a path for themselves. I don't see a path for a player like Bloom, in fact I can every remember even talking about him on the site.

drafted as a long term project and a slight frame with a high end, dynamic skill set, sent to the heavy AHL?

I'm not surprised nor discouraged.

Portillo is lying if he didn't see Levi as a major road block.

Comrie came here for a starting opportunity that he's no longer getting/earned.

Send him to Nashville for Saros with a 24 1st and whatever the (frank) else they want.

Fine if you're prepared to possible lose Levi

Saros is a proven commodity. If that's the cost, so be it. It's time to start building towards a championship team, not walk on eggshells in case all these players under the age of 25 have fragile egos.

It makes sense, when Levi comes up he can ease in as a backup and seize the starting role *if* and when he's ready.

I had a dinner convo with Paul Hamilton (just happened to be at the same bar/restaurant and he sat next to me)

we talked about Portillo and he explained that he was not going to sign here because there was no path for him to make the team. We all ready had UPL who is young, The Sabres Management is higher on Levi then Portillo, so he would have to jump over 2 players.

Yeah, and not too long ago. The article mentioned the Stillman for Bloom trade was a perfect example of getting something for a player that didn’t want to be here.

I would literally piss and poop my pants if that move gets announced and I would never again say a bad thing about GMKA
