The latest flip flop. Went from "signing Miller was a massive mistake" to "it was a brilliant decision".

- boonerbuck

I’m not sold on the Miller signing and would prefer they get out of that contract but Bo’s contract is worse.

Miller has always been my favourite player on the team. I wanted a rebuild. In light of that clearly never happening they were correct in retaining Miller. I’ve wanted to fire Brock and Bo out of a cannon for years. What flip flop. Also, I acknowledged in my post that managements decision may have been forced and not planned

OEL tells us on Canucks Central intermission that he hopes to be back before the end of the season but has no timeline just yet.

It's exciting. Hopefully it's Wolanin that goes down to help out Abbotsford.

Wahhhhh 😢😢😢😢😢 signing Miller over Bo was a brilliant decision. Luck or intentional it was the correct decision. Bo has one point in march and makes more than JT lol. Your tears are fantastic

I think JTM is the better all around player. I just don't like the 7 years.

Just look at the stats between JTM & Horvat since the trade. Keeping Bo would have been another epic Loui Eriksson type failure. Good riddance.

Perhaps. I don’t know. Hopefully they were smart enough to know that Bo’s contract will be one of the worst in the league in a few years.

He sure steps up for teammates though, something Bo never did.

Never gets old. As Bo looks on towards the future contract.

Well of course we all want it to be 4 years. But that’s not realistic. We won’t rebuild so they need him. We aren’t winning a cup. Likely ever. Fans can cry and complain for the rest of their lives or enjoy watching what is hopefully a competitive team the next few years. Life is too short to constantly B!tch about a goddamn sport.

Yet he plays more than any other player and the team wins. I'd rather have wins than a player have points.

Well points are a pretty good indicator of driving results. I doubt they are happy with his 30 point pace since arriving at his contract.

I bet they are happy with him taking all the important draws and contributing to a winning stretch that looks likely to end up in making the playoffs. Id imagined they are over the moon actually. Some people want the team to win, i know you may not recognize it cause it's been a while

I have taken up needle point in my retirement and yelling at seagulls.

It doesn't matter who the player is long term contracts eventually bite you in the ass. Look at Kane and Toews. The league should consider a franchise player contract to each team.

Well there fans aren’t thrilled. Do you think it was a wise signing and trade for NY? Do you wish we signed that contract? I think the answer to both is no but you just like to argue for the sake of it

The difference between the two is Miller will be a 60 pt player in a few years, Bo will be a 60 pt player next year.

Yup. They almost all age poorly. One potentially good thing about Miller is he was definitely a late bloomer. Although, he does play physical so he may start to break down in a few years. It’s a great contract now but it will probably suck in 4 or 5 years
