Yeah as it stands a lot of unknowns. Maybe all the doubt rallies them all to pull together.

Of course the best rabbit is a Bedard lotto win but they may zero out that miracle too.

Adding Hronek should help the D a lot but Bear, Myers, OEL might possibly be there and to that group.

“I wish players would understand that the Pride sweaters are about inclusion and welcoming everybody. A player wearing Pride colours or tape isn’t endorsing a set of values or enlisting in a cause. He is saying you are welcome here. And you are, in every single NHL building,” Burke said.

Wife and I have been talking about this for a few days now.

This statement by him is not inclusive to all people in that community. She has asked two of her clients about this (youth males in high school, that both play sports) and both have not agreed with the statement about wearing the sweaters is about inclusion.

High school kids. They can’t even figure out how to get the same matching socks on.

Well if 2 kids say it's not inclusion then the NHL may as well stop the charade.

I'm capable of having an actual conversation, let's see if you can justify your response today.

Are you for everyone wearing the jersey's?

I'll ask some kids on their way to school.

Are you in favour of the jerseys?

You avoided the question, you are obviously homophobic then.

You haven't answered the question either.
For the record, I see nothing wrong with the jerseys.
Maybe ease up on the quick accusations.

Why didn't you answer it in the first place then?

I have a problem forcing someone to wear the jersey's. Pride night is about inclusion, acceptance.

I mean if you were a vegan and went to a friends house for dinner and they said no you have to eat meat you are at my house is that okay?

Because I'm not beholden to you.

Also, I don't think anyone is being "forced" to wear them as some individuals and entire teams have chosen not to.

At least there is a conversation going on about homophobia in sports and everywhere else.

It's about NHL pride jerseys. It's hockey related, Aaron.

Exactly. So why does a hockey player have to go to work and people find out their business?

Why would it be crazy, it's been a dominated headline of the hockey world for months now.

I copied a statement from an NHL exec Brian Burke. It was talked about from Jamie Benn in a pre game on ice interview the other day.

I am just fine with having an adult conversation on the choices/decisions that have been made so far. Maybe if you aren't you shouldn't have responded or scrolled by.

The ones that have chosen not too have also been very openly hated upon in the media and social media. Called cowards, "hiding behind religion". That doesn't seem right either.

Why not have a different jersey for ones that aren't open supporters of the community that says "hockey is for everyone" on the back instead of name and number for warm ups.

WTF? The NHL are not asking the players to suck cock in support of acceptance. They are asking them to wear a symbol of acceptance, like pink shirt day in schools.

I’m surprised that some players and teams are saying no. Bad for branding and business as you are alienating a large group of people with traditionally deep pockets.

Yet their jerseys sold out

People should have a right to have their own beliefs but not to force them on others. That said, no one should be ostracized for their beliefs.

I'm not sure if you are aware it's not just about being "gay" as you just referenced sucking off other males.

Does bullying goes against a group of people's personal beliefs?

If the media didn't make such a huge deal about it, I would gather most of those people(who bought the jersey's) would never even have found out about it.

Does James Reimer make everybody pray before games? Maybe they do, I'm not sure.

I'm not religious either. I'm a person of acceptance of all.

I don’t know what you are talking about. You just made the comparison of vegans being forced to eat meat to a NHL player being asked to wear a colourful jersey that supports inclusion. That was dumb.

I was just commenting on your silly take. The whole jersey thing is a marketing stunt to show the NHL is “woke”. The fact that it is backfiring on the NHL is just another incident that shows the NHL as a second rate league. They can’t even do feign social acceptance correctly.
