Benning was the worst, just awful, crashed and burned on 50% of his first round picks and had to be convinced to draft Elias Pettersson, who may go down as a top five draft pick in Canucks history. - LeftCoaster
Hughes, Bure, EP will be the top 3 by the time EP and Hughes careers are over.

Not sure why thos Presidents Trophy banners aren't hanging from the rafters. - Reubenkincade
Oh, they be hanging. The Canucks hang banners for just about anything. They even had that stupid “7th man” banner for a while. Not sure they still have that one.
Why or how does it hurt their chances? - Nighthawk
It’s a trigger word I guess means something different to many.
Chances are Canucks can’t make enough moves to clear space. If they do it might not be enough for upgrades. That’s why teams have cost controlled young players to fill that gap. Canucks are short on that at the moment.

They would have to have pretty successful careers to surpass what Hank and Danny did, both individually and team wise. Both were first ballot HHOF’ers.

It's funny how quickly people have forgotten just how good they were for so long
A little disappointed, you didn't correct the spelling mistake. - Reubenkincade
If the sudden pom-pom waving wasn't a sad enough indicator, the total indifference to correct spelling is a truth bomb that a busboy that we all care about has relapsed, again.

For some reason, fans look at the following season only, not the seasons that follow.
The Canucks have a big contract coming up, that is easily starting with a 9, possibly up to 11, so they, management, have to keep that in mind, when dealing with any free-agent signings, trades etc.
They, fans, can't go assuming on a buyout or someone being on LTIR, or that the cap will increase by several million. - Reubenkincade
I would think you of all people would be happy if they moved off of POUTY
Just bustin your balls.
IN all the GM meetings in the past the GMs were asked do they want to make rule changes about using LTIR loopholes to stop circumnavigating the cap. They overwhelmingly said it is fine the way it is.
That is why they have people like Emillee in place so that they can screw over the numbers. Look at TB a master at fixing the numbers and winning two cups.
I thought you said you were moving pack up here? - Reubenkincade
We are planning on it, have to sell our business first. At close to a million dollars it could take awhile to sell. Waiting patiently in the sun. We’ll probably end up doing 6 months here, 6 months there.
