regardless. i figured someone would chime in on it though.

Can't say it would have made them a playoff team, but there were Dman available that might have helped us more throughout the year than some of the crap we Rolled out. Do I know if Bear Timmins Reilly would have helped or made us better. Don't know but I would have tried atleast.

One thing I really wanted them to add was a defenseman. I don't think that defenseman prevents us from being blown out of the (frank)ing water twice.

Well I mean the draft still matters and we both know if this draft busts that the both of us will be critical at a minimum.

I also understand the fatigue of caring more about the draft than the playoffs. So I get that.

I'm thankful meaningful games were played in March.

We can all be happy with the progression of many, many players on the roster, yet be dissatisfied with the lack of meaningful moves at the TDL to help the team both now and into the future.
I can be disappointed with the degree of the collapse since the end of the AS Break, yet be excited about the future as well

However, the happiness/satisfaction side is bolstered by a belief that several moves MUST be made during the offseason to plug glaring holes in the roster without "blocking" the potential of Prospects to seize a roster spot in the future.

Since when is it written in stone that an acquired player (UFA /Trade) must complete his/her contract as a Sabre. Trading out a Vet later on because a Prospect has earned the spot is a good thing...no need to hold holes on the roster open until 3 years down the road.
