It's everyone's right to decide if they don't want to wear a pride jersey or not, enough with the bashing people that don't want to wear it it's a joke already. I'm so tired of this s$$t and hearing about, stop forcing people to get involved in things that they don't want to be involved with. Sports is only doing it to " save face" so they don't lose money, enough already. - SABRES 89
Again, I don't care.
My chafe is specifically for the "faithful" hypocrites. That's it.

I don't really get the big deal with any of it. One way or the other. If a guy doesn't want to wear the jersey that's his choice. If it's in his contract that he has to do these pre game things, and he doesn't, fine him. Move on.

there. right there. dicaprio meme.
How, exactly, does a pride jersey, that is specifically designed to notate your support of that community to be hockey fans, go against the Christian faith? - TheSabresTaco
Openly promoting something that your faith doctrine opposes, does go against your faith. However, today's society has essentially shrugged its shoulders and said "so what?".
The internet remains undefeated, I noted many hockey related historical feats that are happening this season, and everyone immediately and only speaks about rainbows.

I'm no longer interested in going down this hole. But supporting a community's participation in a sport =/= supporting their personal life choices. Even the pope welcomes these people into the church.
Religious hypocrites are the scum of the non-incarcerated earth.

The day an NHL player refuses to wear a jersey for military appreciation day, that would be something don’t you think ? - Swedish_Jesus
That's right because people die in the militay and fight for this country so people like you and I can run our mouths on a hockey blog that means NOTHING. It's a disgrace that people take a knee for the national anthem or burn flags.

Carlos Delgado did the closest thing IMO. He refused to come out for the Star Spangled Banner for a time when he was a Blue Jay. The world continued to turn.
Maybe there's a pacifist player who would do what you're saying. And I would support him.
If someone did it in an agressive way and said America or Canada are evil countries....then I'd probably tell them to go the Ali route and protest from jail/not employed and not your multimillion dollar job.

who is anyone to tell ME how I feel about something? just because I accept another Human being does not mean that I have to believe in what they do or say. But again we should treat all people with respect.
Just like when a Jehovah witness comes knocking at my door. I always politely listen to what they say then I politely decline. I don't believe in what they are saying but I respect them as a person and that is why I listen to what they have to say.
Then I can make my own decisions on what is right for me to believe in or not.
