I'm split on that one. They sure as hell can afford it, and half the players are paid to he hurt half the year every year. I would simply take it out of their multimillion dollar checks every two weeks and make sure everyone had access on plane. I think both parties look cheap. - lacaprup

Even though the odds looked against them to make the playoffs, I’m not exactly thrilled they rolled over and died the way they did either.
There are enough positives to take from the season to suggest if the GM expedites his timeline, that they could/should make the playoffs next year.
I am by no means hoping they lose 8 of their next 12 as suggested earlier, but I mean winning a lottery for Bedard/Fantilli/Michkov/Carlsson would be chiefs kiss - Swedish_Jesus
It absolutely would be and I’m all for it.
but one thing I wouldn’t want to hear is how KAs plan “worked” because he lucked into a lottery ball
Not going to excuse the overall team performance, but getting NHL caliber management during this stretch would have made this year meaningful. - Swedish_Jesus

I don’t know what Adams plan was definitively, only the front office does. It appears he came into this season treating the Sabres as a developmental team giving the young players as many minutes as they can handle.
What I do know though is a team doesn’t go into a playoff or bust season with a 41 year old Craig Anderson/Eric Comrie goaltending tandem and Vinny Hinostroza as their core free agent forward add.

Obviously Bonham is numero uno, but I have to say AVH is my second favorite drummer all time. Just awesome ensembles. A true percussionist. Everybody Wants Some, I'll Wait and of course Finish What Ya Started. Cut time. I remember showing up to the 1st All County Band practice as the best snare drummer in the county getting a piece called Monolith that was cut time. I was like what the? First time I ever saw it. No idea how to play it or count it and I still don't. Took it back to my school band teacher and he was like uhh yeah it's cut time. Ok, well you never taught me it. He was a great band teacher though. Always picked awesome percussion pieces for the band to play. Wipeout, Police Academy theme and Oh When the Saints to name a few.

opinions vary
getting spanked 7-0 or 10-4 is a loss at every level
this team quit since they dropped the puck to play the blue jackets

where is buddy rich and animal on your list?
levon helm, copeland, moon or baker? - homiedclown
All good choices. Copeland and Moon are definitely up there for me too. Just think Bonham and AVH are my favorite. I'm not gonna say Buddy Rich and Neal Peart weren't great, and people that know a lot more about drumming than me think they're kings, but they never built up to a crescendo. They just go 100 mph from the get go and could they play a song note for note twice?
