I mean when it comes to the draft the rationale should be to take the best player available.
Can always move forwards for defence - Swedish_Jesus
The bold is not nearly as easy as it seems.
We've seen in recent seasons how defense is held in higher regard then forwards. |

Being an average to above average hockey team for the first time in over a decade.
Mostly being led by the youth/core that should be here for the next decade.
Holds some merit - Swedish_Jesus
The Sabres have a bottom 10 record over the past 35 games.
They were “good” for a few weeks to start the year and for a month after the 8 game streak
They’re nowhere near above average right now |

You'll appreciate this:
Lot's of complaining among season ticket holders, early save 10% next season was due this morning. 😀
Plenty of regrets..... not here, of course - Boss34
Ten whole percent huh? Wow. They really appreciate you guys. Could probably get 15% after the draft and free agency when they do precisely d¡ck and have to beg people to renew. |

At this point I'll be surprised if Tage hits 45 goals. He's dried up faster than... well, I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but fast. 1 goal in 10 games isn't going to cut it. He does have 7 points which is solid if unspectacular. |

Funny how people can't seem to see that, especially the last couple years. Hurt the Sabres this year in trades having No viable D prospects. |

No it didn't. Their belief Matt Savoie is Jesus Christ hurt them in trades. Their belief Mattias Samuelsson is a shutdown defenseman hurt them in trades.

Until Rasmus Dahlin is signed long-term every Sabre fan has to wonder why a player like him would want to stay in a trash organization like this. He's had about 4 partners this year and they all suck. He's had his face smacked off a cross bar. And, now he's watched what was a potential Norris season turn into another laughing stock where he's going to end up a minus player before the season is done. He's (frank)ing -12 in his last 6 games because we have dumpster fire goaltending for the third year in a row.
Don't worry the "smart" Sabre fans will tell us this means they can low ball him
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does everyone have their real franchise ready to root for this playoffs? Very hard to bet against the Bruins, but i'll be cheering for a Rangers Oilers final. |

Are Non D depth hurt us more than saying No to Savoie in trades. And whatever you think of Samuelsson it's obvious other GM's see him different. If the Sabres had a Morrow, Addison, Faber type in there system there are a couple players that probably are Sabres now. |

Why did the Bruins ever sign Linus? Weren't they afraid he would block Swayman (who also happens to be lightyears better than any Sabre goalie)? |

Replace Olofsson with a bonafide middle 6 forward.
Obtain a top 4 d-man
Trade for a #1 goalie.

Do you put Levi in this season 5-6 games, behind this clown show (no pun intended 😂) to see what you have, and hope he doesn't get lit up?
Imo, he has to get a real (frank)ing goalie, start Levi in the AHL and waive Comrie next year. - Powerslave
Agree to a point... Yes get a real NHL goalie, put Levi in the AHL but trash the other 3 and just get a pillow to replace them...

Coaching, Coaching, Coaching...... The Sabres are a very poorly coached team.... awareness of on ice situations can be coached into a player... These clowns they have couldn't coach a brownie troop..... Fire all of their asses and hire a real nhl coach and staff.... And Adams? WHAT A FRIGGING JOKE.......... |

Something I learned in the Army and as a merc, take it for what you will. You learn whether or not people respect your leadership in the tough times, not the easy times. Since the going got tough for the Sabres we've seen this team quit on the coach three separate times in the past month.
They don't respect him because he is and always has been soft on them. Treat them like men and not fragile little fems. They will respect you more and not quit on you.
Oh yeah, and amateur front office, GET A FÙCKING GOALIE!!! |

They are sitting in a wildcard spot right now with average goaltending.
That’s the truth.

Looks like Adams is gonna use another Draft to fill the Caufer some more. Probably be picking around 10 unless we win the Lottery. So let's get this started. Not all but most of these players should be Available when the Sabres pick:
William Smith C- USNDP we will be Lucky if he is still on the board, depends on if any D sneak into the top 10.
Danil But LW- Could be the next Tuch
Oliver Moore C
Brayden Yager C
Zach Benson LW-RW
Colby Barlow LW-RW
Defenseman
David Reinbacher RD- If we are sitting at 10 or 11 and he is still there He would be my selection.
Axel Pellikka RD- High End
Dmitry Simashev LD- A bulldozer who can Skate. Hopefully available in the 2nd but doubt it
Tanner Moldenyk LD |

They had enough ammunition to do deals without including Savoie.
We have a top 5 prospect pool in the league right now |

Yes and No. His fault for not having the prospects or Depth at certain positions to do a trade. But I don't blame him for not using our Forward Depth to overpay for players either. |

IMO the biggest sign that this Team is moving in the right Direction and players are on board with what's happening. Is if Rasmus Dahlin signs a Contract Extension before next season and doesn't say let's wait another season and see where we are at. |

No one in the Sabres organization knows how to win in the roles they are in.
Some might have experienced winning in other roles, but all members of the Sabres are in new roles and the 2nd half of this season exposed how incompetent the organization is run.
Players having career years and management played it safe, that will affect Dahlin signing and continue to push winning players away. |
