It's funny - after not caring for the Argos for 25 years, I want to go to games again.

I tried to get some guys on my street to go, but we could never settle on a game that fit everyone's schedules.

Then my 14 year old daughter declared that she was a Saskatchewan Roughriders fan (yeah, I have no idea) so we were all set to go to a game. Except the Argos' "home game" against them was held in Halifax.

This year, for sure.

I was there for about 4 days in 1996 - still itching to go back. Oh damn, me and the wife had a fun time (pre-kids!).

We golfed.

We swam and boogie-boarded.

We went to Ybor City, and then took the trolley to a Bolts game - bought tickets two hours before the game at the ticket window - we sat in about the third or fourth row, next to the visitors' bench. I could touch the stick rack from my seat.

And we ate and drank. I think I still have a Dockside Dave's coozie cup somewhere in the basement.

Was hoping the Leafs would be in town. We could have seen Tampa but it was the night we arrived.

We were in Nashville last week, so we went to Predators vs. Red Wings. Good lord, it was a dull game. But it had to be done.

Have watched the Argos a few times the past couple years, a woman I used to work with (we were both laid off a couple weeks ago) is the mother of a CFL punter (might be former now)

Dockside Daves is still the best grouper sandwich I have ever had I love Ybor city. There used to be a great alternative music club there that I went to a lot.

I have yet to catch a game at the Amalie. I think it would be a blast!

I just read a report that that Chinese knock-off jersey manufacturers are now worried it will be easier to tell their stuff is fake, since it will be better quality than the Fanatics jerseys.
