Apparently they were in that conversation but the Yotes didn't want to take any cap/money back so the Jets backed out.

Yes they will need to rebuild but the rebuild will never end cause they'll never part with their better picks or prospects, better hope they get MUCH BETTER at drafting.

That's really too bad. It seems like some of the media personalities and Scheifele don't get along. I think its more personal than anything else.

I was really young then, but wasn't Dale Hawerchuk treated similarly by the Winnipeg media to Scheifele prior to him being traded? Honest question.....

He appears to have checked out! Absolutely no desperation - and he wears an "A?" I realize a couple of others may appear the same but he is supposed to be one of the leaders. Lead by example!

I think Mike Smith was the main cause of Ducky's departure.
I think 55's numbers speak for themselves. In any true hockey market, the media would be all over him. There is a cancer in the locker room. Is it 26 or 55, or both ?

Oh I believe he probably has a lot of say in on ice decisions.

It would explain a lot of what we've witnessed over the years with certain players in certain spots no matter what.

Odd that will the Line Blender on at practice and even during games that they haven’t reunited Connor- PLD - Ehlers ?

Anybody have a theory on that one?

MS had two good games and I was ready to sign him for 10 M for 6 years, then free fall from there to now.

Time to move on from 55. Last nights loss was a back breaker and he just seemed to be right in the middle of a lot of stupid plays. As much as a like Wheeler, they should have moved him when they took his captaincy. Can't really play confidently after being removed as a captain and staying put.

On paper, Jets have all the talent in the world but cannot seem to put it all together. That roster should be at the top of the west. Not bowing out of the wild card race. Calgary has a soft schedule going forward.

That game was very frustrating to watch last night. Lots of panic against the worst defensive team in the league.

The game appeared to be televised from the "nose bleed" section on the west side of the Winnipeg Arena!

Do they actually think we like that? Ridiculous!
