What does D'Angelo actually make money from, since his commercial ventures don't seem to last. I don't want to stereotype Italians here. Actually I'm lying, I love stereotyping Italians. - Zezel

14.4 or 28.8? - 21peter
After backreading, I feel I need to weigh in because none of you are OG dorks?
300 baud, baby! Before there was an internet there were BBS systems and multi-user online boards (Metro and Opticomm) where nerds would congregate to chat and play online ASCII games and not get beaten up together - all from the safety of our parents' basements.
Good times.

Sadly, it seems Frankie knows as much about running a city as he does running a brewery.
For those of you too young to remember Steelback, it was a terrible beer, and Frankie lost loads of other people's money before it went bankrupt. - Atomic Wedgie
Wow, it certainly sounds like there is no chance this all happens. I could rhyme off 10 things I want to do to my house, but don't feel like dropping a couple hundred K.
"Who is going to pay for it" is a question we need to start hammering at politicians. |

I bought a computer in about 1994, which had 4 megs of RAM.
A couple of months later, I bought the computer version of EA NHL, which was incredibly glitchy on 4 MB of RAM - I needed to upgrade to 8.
At the time, it was $55 per MB (it's weird how I still remember that exact amount), so I dropped $220 and made my machine super-fast.
The game absolutely sucked compared to the console game, but the stats were way better. - Atomic Wedgie
Was 3 or 4 years after that for me, and I remember the 4meg ram cost 120. |

Yah but that douche nozzle on the oilers said that Matthews isn't even in the top 20 players in the NHL - winsix
You could make that argument this year. |

The Tampa Bay Lightning are 16-15-1 against teams in the playoffs. They are 26-9-1 against teams outside of the playoffs.
The Ottawa Senators are 10-21-2 against teams in the playoffs and 24-11-2 against teams on the outside looking in.
The Leafs are 19-8-4 against teams in the playoffs and 23-11-3 against teams on the outside.
Our final 12 games are 6/6 in terms of playoff teams, but we only play 4 at home.
The Lighting have 10 games left, and 6 of them are against playoff teams and similarly, they only have 4 home games remaining.

Samsonov heading back to Toronto and not staying with the team on the rest of this road trip....probably for the best let him be there to enjoy the birth of his child and rest/heal up.

It's probably just Leafs PR covering up for the fact that there's a divided dressing room - they sent him home. The baby thing is a lie. |

I'm sure some fantastic people who want to talk hockey will be here at some point to let us all know that it's because he is too soft and typical of a Leaf player. Going home to enjoy his child being born is for softies and losers!!!!!

Have no idea why, but Google Analytics has decided I'm in the market for an outdoor barrel sauna.
Not gonna lie - I think they are pretty cool, so I don't mind seeing the ads next to everything I read on the internet.
But seriously - every page I look at now has an ad for them. |

I just got back from running an errand - one of the stations was interviewing Craig Simpson, who has to be the biggest Leafs Hatr on earth.
Even he was fluffing off the Leafs' current sag - said it was just human nature, as they know who they are playing.
He also said something interesting; he said he preferred to start a series on the road. Get a win, put pressure on the other team.
Anyhoo, it got me to do some derp deep thinking.
Every single one of us wrote in the prediction thread that they didn't care what happens in the regular season - we will judge the Leafs by what they do in the playoffs.
And here we are in prep time for the playoffs, as Keefe tries out new combinations, as the Leafs are on pace for what I think will be their 3rd best season in franchise history.
But they threw up a stinker 3rd period in a meaningless away game on a Tuesday night, and everyone here wants to crucify them.
I'll say it again:
This is why we can't have nice things. |

I did that in New Orleans last year - hot chicken with waffles and syrup.
I don't get it.
And it was in the US, so it was 3 times too big.
I like chicken.
I like waffles.
And never the twain shall meet. |

Yes, but why now?
I haven't browsed anything in the last month (years!) that's been related.
Maybe I've commented on Liljegren too much? |
